IT FAVORS MR MUKPO, ABOVE ALL ELSE, THEY FOLLOW A MAN, AND FOR ME THAT IS FUNDAMENTALISTIC AND NOT BROAD IN VIEW, NOR SPACIOUS, NOR ANYTHING DHARMIC IN TEACHINGS......I ASM HAPPY I SURVIVED SHAMBHALA LINEAGE AND MR MUKPO........

I will not be a fundamentalist Buddhist! IMO, the Shambhala Lineage is fundamentalistic in view and as an organization.

I was a part of Shambhala lineage for over 10 years, I even lived at Karma Choling, and volunteered much of my time at karma choling before I lived thier; I was part of the Kasung as well for 1 1/2 years. What Jetsunma states, in her quote of Padmasambhava, needs to be clearly used as a guideline within Shambhala lineage!!! I left Shamabhala in 2018 due to Mr Mukpo's disgraceful behavior. The so-called Sakyong, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, did not own his behavior, his sexual misconduct toward the 3 women, who collectively charged him. Instead in 2018, Mr Mukpo, left his students, left the country, and went to Nepal, in order to somehow escape from what he had done......to this day Mr Mukpo hides and does not own his behavior.....I have been a buddhist for over 15 years, taking my refuge vow at Karma Choling in 2009. And for me, Integrity is the hallmark of being a buddhist, owning one's behavior is the hallmark of being a buddhist. What Mr. Mukpo has done, his behavior, has only added to his "iron shackles of self clinging." Mr mukpo, has still much to learn and much negative karma to work out!!!! I am no longer in the Shambhala Lineage. I miss some of the people....some were dear friends, but I never heard from them again after 2018. And I decided to not bother them.....I have found other lineages and a full scope of dharma teachings that help me and support me with my own individual suffering.....and at the same time give freedom to all sentient beings........I am so happy to have left the Shambhala Lineage, so happy. Because I learned what I do not want to be as a buddhist! that lesson was and is very clear to me now. Mr Mukpo, has his own karma to deal with!!! And Mr Mukpo has affected, perhaps infected, the karma, of the Shambhala Lineage. In the end, we have only ourselves to live with.

The people running Shambala bookstore in Boulder sold me a copy of Chandra Das and then offered me a list to sign up on if I wanted to sleep with Trungpa !! I was utterly shocked! So you should know teachers can be prisoners of evil students who are abusive Narcissists! Stay away from that dangerously psychologically abusive organization! Wolves in sheep's clothing! It has nothing to do with Buddha Dharma and everything to do with Bamboozling people. It makes me terribly sad to see Tibetans pulled into that kind of corruption. Monks should not come to the West alone, but follow Jesus' advice to go two by two. It's safer. That said, Trungpa was no longer a monk. He and Sogyal were realized yogis capable of creating whole environments for the benefit of the Dharma and their students. How the students respond is not up to the lama.

If you cant get milk from the painting of a cow, you certainly aren't capable of teaching with, understanding, or engaging in so-called "Crazy Wisdom" Walk on water, milk a painting, still a storm, and maybe you have enough understanding to find a teacher who can get you over the last obstacles. Otherwise, "Don't put the burdens of a yak on the back of a dog." and don't try to leap over a chasm known only to Snow Lions. The result will be your own destruction. Know where you are, what your level of ability is and don't try to play with the Big Boys until you are one! A lama who uses "Crazy Wisdom" as a lure for baby-level students is no different from an angler fish. Fall for their trick to your own destruction! As we have seen. They are very dangerous and destructive. Its not smart to cuddle up to such unprincipled people. Didn't Jesus warn us well? "Many will come in my name to mislead you." Don't be so fooled by robes and environment. Its all theater. Your practice starts at the beginning and humility is the sign of it's success. Watch out for this urge toward obsequiousness and submissive devotion. It will lead you astray. Avoid any teacher who doesn't call you out on it.

I'm sorry but the answer of Dalai Lama is misleading, the problem is not coming for a neophytes who took the tantric teachings too early and misunderstood them, the problem is coming from respected lamas, and by respected I mean recognize by Tibetan lamaic system, Chogyam Trungpa or Sogyal Lakar are not self taught non traditional westerners who were not initiate through the tradition. In other words the tradition is not rigorous enough to keep itself clean from elements who'll abuse power.

I think Ani Pema Tenzin is not taking into consideration that Chogyam Trunpgpa couldn't present himself nor the Buddha Dharma to the Westerners of the day from a conservative moral perspective. The seekers of the day were mostly made up of people rejecting the morality and rigidity of their own religions. Choyan Trungpa was the perfect teacher for the students of the time, and it is largely on his efforts that Tibetan Buddhism became the most popular form of Buddhism in the West. Chogyam Trungpa was a mahasiddha and a amazing Bodhisattva.
