Michael: I do hope you all will at least touch on the potentially looming ICE raids in Chicago. My last visit, we made our mandatory visit to the Little Village, an area on the west side where I worked doing STI case work back in '78. Thanks. BB in VA

Yes, I drank a whole pot of coffee right before we started, but there was no liqueur in it this time. Hey, I'm an Aries, so what did you expect? My thought was to cram as much info as I could into the limited time we had, and I hope we succeeded. Please drop me a line if you remember those wild times or if you have any questions.

Thanks for featuring our LOCAL HERO attorney Ed Mullen. He's a significant asset for progressives in Chicago as a skilled elections legal eagle. A highlight of my work with Ed was an honor when we along with neighbor/activist Katy Hogan represented our community as delegates pledged to presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders at the Democratic National Convention.

It’s quite wonderful and interesting to see you in action after so many years. I couldn’t agree more about the dangers and the direction of Trump and the new conservatives. It’s a bit terrifying. I learned a lot from you in a few years we spent together in Berkeley - certain ideas about revolutions Happening when people who were once entitled, even a little bit Become dis entitled. I was wondering if the analytics that you were proposing back then still inform your thinking. I’ve been a lawyer myself for over 40 years, always a political position in life. It’s been interesting. I’m still in Berkeley. Keep up the good work!

Hm. At 18:36 Jeff Smith says out loud what has been denied over and over again by Democrats. They'll always deny that they've been importing VOTERS and yet he admits here that they've always assumed that the people brought in would vote Democrat. I've known it, you've known it and now we know they ASSUMED it and will forever deny it. Hilarious.

Katy, you could have knocked on 10 million doors, it would not have made a difference, when most of the people I have talked to here in Montana, they watch fox news. I read the Newyork times every day, none of these people have time to read any newspaper or they don't want to read a newspaper. I am 80 years old and have been a regular newspaper reader since age 12 when I started reading the Chicago Daily News. That said most Americans are not like us, Trump had very few if any people knocking on doors in Michigan. I want to say one more thing the country being where it is at now there was no way that K. Harris could every had won her race. She raised one billion dollars. Racism and sexism have existed since the start of America, however despite racism Obama won twice, that tells me that America can vote for a black person if he has the right answers, as far as sexism I don't know enough because I am a man with a daughter, who is a self-made millionaire. I know she must have faced sexism somewhere down the line. Good luck living in the "new America" I think most of us Dems could learn something from James Carville, watch his videos. He is very right on, more so than most.

please understand I spilled a coffee on my only keyboard so that is why there are typos, I found Michael James is just like trump, he deleted every comment that was critical of the party. He is a rich boy who wanted to be a part of the hippie movement, He grew up in a very privileged place on the east coast, Westport Conn., that said, Tom Dundee called him a phony behind his back, Tom rest his sole was really a working man person, again Michael James you can delete my comments but people like you are the reason the Democrats lost, as a life long democrat I think I have a better understanding of the real politic than you will ever have. I don't care if you delete this and every other comment I have made about you. Trump won despite people like you and Katy, you can knock on ten million doors but if you don't have the answers the people want you will be a loser. Obama won despite his race because he had the right answers to the questions, Harris didn't. She had one billion bucks, it didn't help because she didn't have the right answer to one question on the view. One more thing, after you delete this Michael James, I will consider the source and smile. I can walk out my door at midnight and feel safe on the streets of my town, can you? That said, best wishes and krump you.

Harris had over 1 billion dollars, they wasted it on ads that were not effective. Here in Montana they spent millions on ads for Testor, wasted money, no matter what he could done he could never have won, even though he was the better candidate with a record of voting for people here in Montana.

Don Rose, listen to James Carville, learn something.

Michael, Jeff B. could not give a shit if you cancel you sub. no one cares, wake up . Ann Landers said, "wake up and smell the coffee" I believe no matter what the democrats could have done more people in this country want a person like Donald Trump than a person like Harris.

I have few comments, JAMES CARVILLE WASN'T LISTENED TO, It was 27 years ago I left "sweet home Chicago" you don't get it. "Defund the police" does not fly in Red America. I live in a senior citizen complex with 100's of people maybe a handful of them are democrats like me. 25% of Chicago voted for tRump, wake up, live in the real world. If you talked to people, I live with you would not be surprised, I left Rogerspark 27 years ago last month. I knew it was time to get out of Dodge when I could no longer sit on the little jetty at Northshore Beach without someone trying to rip me off. (I was sitting on the end of the jetty when some scumbag tried to rip off the gold chain I bought in Italy off my neck, I fought back and got him arrested. I went to court they let him go even though he assaulted a woman just before he tried to get me.} Again, listen to James Carville, he is right on. " Don't be surprised that America is a racist country, and women are treated like shit. Woke doesn't work talking to most people is like talking to the wall. People here in Montana voted out Jon Testor, a great guy who I met when he first ran for the Senate. Another example of stupid people who voted for the donald are the Muslims in Michigan, they just signed the death warrant for 100000's of their brothers and sisters in Gaza and the West Bank. Trump will tell Bibi do what you want and will we send you the bombs. WATCH ALL THE VIDEOS OF THE LAST WEEK THAT JAMES CARVILLE HAS POSTED ON KZbin, HE IS IN MY OPINION, THE ONE OF THE FEW DEMOCRATS WHO GETS IT. He is profane , but he is a political expert that I think makes sense.

Hello Kathy, I'm Adrian, 3rd adopted child of Carmen and Chiquitín from Hunt's Point in the Bronx. My older sister Natasha, older brother Carlos and I used to go to St. Athanasious Chapel on Seneca Ave. with our adoptive mother Carmen back in the 80's. We have very fond memories of our time there. I was going through my things and found a certificate from St. Athanasious and it had your name, so I had to look you up and found this interview. Wow, I'm so happy to see that you're doing great. I realized that I never knew your history and wow, this interview blew me away. If there's any way that we can contact each other, I'd love to catch up with you. God bless you always. Your former Sunday class student Adrian. ❤🙏

"America is a free country until you question authority" I saw this on a wall somewhere. Greeting from Montana where 99% of my neighbors will vote for the orange monster. That said, I must be very careful what I write here on Facebook because BIG BROTHER is watching for sure, I will not go into what happened to me when I wrote something very negative about a GOP senator, let us say it was very nasty. I would say my neighbors seem like normal human beings until you realize that most of them believe whatever they hear on Fox News, they have no critical thinking abilities whatsoever. I don't engage any of them in political discussion, it is a waste of breath. I met Jon Testor when he made his first run for the US senate, I photographed him when he debated Conrad Burns the incumbent GOP senator from Montana. That was 18 years ago, I saw him in the hallway after the debate, I said, "Jon you really kicked his ass", Burns lost. One of the reasons the people here are so dumb is religion, as the hippy dippy weatherman said, is all bullshit. I hope that Jon Testor survives all the lies that the GOP is spreading in their commercials that are running non-stop. He is a 3rd generation Montana farmer, I believe he does his best for all the people in the state of Montana, he is the only US senator I've ever talked too. Here in Montana, it is very easy for the average citizen to meet Government officials, I've met a Governor, and a congressman. When I first came to Montana as a visitor in 1964 there were 649,000 People now, I think it's about one million. This is the fourth largest state in area. There is space for everyone. I have known Michael and Katy for over 40 years, I can't believe how fast the years have flown. The lefties who fly the Hamas flag, none of you would last 5 minutes in any Arab county, especially if you are gay. Women and gays have more civil rights in Israel than any Arab country. The Jews have a saying, "never again" If you kill and rape 1200 Jews and take over 200 hostages. I don't think you will get any mercy from the Jews. The people of Pasistine had a chance for a state but their own leaders would not take the deal. Again to all you lefties who like Hamas I would love to see how long you could live in a place where you lived under their rule. Just saying. Remember Israel with all its faults is the only Democracy in the middle east.
