Richard Berry was the composer of Louie Louie. We liked his version, but didn't hear when it was released. .

Fantastic Negrito es un gran frontman con una gran banda. Me hace acordar a James Brown.

What great pitch! This was absolutely fantastic. It’s rare someone can sing a cappella and sound this great. Amazing talent.

Saw them the next night in Sonoma. They played hard, very intense. It was something else. The whole band is great: the inventive interplay of Dave Alvin and Mark Karan, Michael Jerome’s active and detailed drumming keeping everything afloat, Victor Krummenacher’s bass doing all kinds of embroidery and quilting, Jesse Syke’s voice delivering the words and haunting vibe. Go see them!

Always a great song, I actually like it more than Jimi Hendrix version but its close. Their arrangement is cool, with slightly different intro, and bass solo very short, and bridge/chorus The Leaves are cool

Undoubtedly the best band to come out of the San Jose scene in the 80's! Saw them more times than I can remember and they were ALWAYS excellent! Still pull out their record every now and again and I still think it's fantastic - "Crack the Sky" should've been a massive radio hit for these guys! I was at this Laundryworks reunion show and it was awesome to see all the old gang and hear many of my favorite old local bands, but Epic Rumours was STILL top of the heap!
