About how many strings did you use per bundle? I’ve been using 40, but they seem thin.
@KraftyKittyDIYsAndCrochet19 күн бұрын
I can't really answer that because I varied the size of each bundle. It depends on the look you're going for. For the all white project, I used one layer of string; for the white and black project, I doubled or tripled the layers. You may want to weave a few bundles before you make too many to see how it will look.
@alexacruz523920 күн бұрын
Does anyone know if you have to use the double ring for this pattern or can a regular magic circle work too
@KraftyKittyDIYsAndCrochet20 күн бұрын
You can use any type of magic circle that you want. The double ring method is the most reliable method to ensure that the work does not come apart.

This was a great tutorial, thank you! May I ask how long the 2 pieces of string should be for the candy cane? Like would you recommend buying two rolls of yarn, or how would I pre-measure the length needed for two strings. Thanks in advance!
@KraftyKittyDIYsAndCrochetАй бұрын
You only need a very small amount if you are making the size shown. I didn't measure the yarn -- it was just some scrap yarn that I had. You don't need a full skein of yarn unless you make a bunch of them. Thanks for watching -- glad you enjoyed the video.
