Nice to see my old TY1504 again after 26 years. It must have been an experience-rich trip.

10 years later now in 2022. Rallies are dominated by giant baggers with every possible comfort option. I got tired of it. Traded my M8 limited in on a cheap sportster and a far check. Gonna build out a basic, stripped down Harley I can love and ride and camp off from for the next 50 years of my life. Been riding for 40 years on the streets...many miles on touring bikes...but my 1st HD was a sportster I rode all over this country after the Army... going back to that. Thanks for the video. I'm saving it and will watch over a bunch.

I'm an American and if I could go anywhere in the world to ride it would definitely have to be to your great country to ride and hangout with you all.. many countries like Japan try to copy the Harley biker ways but you guys are the real deal and you all build some badazz choppers

Did you do this trip again in 2019, I met guys that were doing the same thing outside Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona HD in July of that year.

Hi Kevin. Yes I guess that was us, I think it was Saturday the 13^th of July. We were on a roadtrip called Easyrider Tour USA 2019. By the end after 80 days on the road we had done 12.400 miles thru 27 states.

@@arvesolly1967 Haha, I thought I recognised you. You were on your way to the Keys, and I was really hoping I would meet you on the road to Sturgis. I only did 5400 miles in 10 days. I have a couple of photos for you. Let me have an email address I can send them. Skol

Can’t wait to do this myself. Was debating between building a chopper and buying a Softail till I watched this. Think I’ll put some links on my sportster to get rid of the shocks before I start building a panhead chopper so I can get used to the feedback from the road
