@ Yes, it snows and freezes. Below zero sometimes.

Do you not fly much in the winter? here in Portugal I fly all through the winter

These props are made off pre-preg CF, in hollow molds that are baked off in an oven. Best, Rob ^^

@@robertzeeland pre preg is cured within a very specific temp range. Even patching pre preg requires a monitoring system so as not over heat or under heat the cure. I have been an aircraft engineer for over 20 years.

Hi there Robert it is not my machine, I videoed it at a fly-in in Portugal where I now live, but I would guess its a rotax 503. And yes you are so right, there is not better feeling than being 5000 ft up above a thick cloud base, with you all the way on that one. "make sure you stay safe up there"

@@markp5549 the rubber membranes become weak over time and use and are unable to perform their tasks as efficiently as they should, They don't break they just degrade and that is why you only notice the different in loss of performance once they are really failing to do their job
