Stop calling them Imposters !! This is different. This group honors the originals who are mostly gone or retired. It's a tribute group that keeps them alive, and preserves our black heritage in it's original 1960's form. I love that these youngsters used the original clothes, hair, and stage setting of the era. Others have done this with the Beatles and Elvis. It would be different if the originals were still with us. So lets honor the original style and era, and keep them alive forever. More tribute groups please. Love it!!

So true! They aren't going to get it. For some reason, we want to be so loyal to the "original group" that we can't see things for what it is. There is only 1 Marvellette that Is now living. Just one. They are gone. Wanda Rogers was living in Westland, Michigan, with her daughter until her death from COPD on December 15, 2021, at age 78. Katherine Anderson died of heart failure on September 20, 2023, at age 79.As of 2024, Juanita Cowart Motley is the only surviving original member of the group. Yes we all prefer the originals. But they are GONE. As of right now there are no Original Spinners or Four Tops. As time goes on eventually there will be no original Temptations, Jackson 5 Supremes . Thank God for people who honor the group and continue the legacy. By the way those fans who "knew" the original members will also go to sleep and the whole narrative about "imposters" will be put to rest as well.

This "Group" is the MAJOR problem. Gladys Horton died trying to keep HER group from being taken over by IMPOSTERS. You can TRY to imitate, but you will NEVER be The Marvelettes - EVER!

For a local effort, wayyyyy off Broadway, he'll do, but on the world stage, a motion picture, mini series, Broadway play, Vegas act, he's nowhere near Jackie Wilson.
