I finally saw it last night, KZbin made it free with ads and I’m so glad they did. I had seen scenes from the movie but man, watching it in full hits almost as hard as it would if I saw it fully blind.

For a movie that shoves diversity and inclusion down your throat like a dumpster truck unloading, it sure gave us the most stereotypical depiction of a Vietnamese character ever. You almost waited for her to say "i give you good deal". This movie had as much charm as the syphillis sore on the first baby dudes' lip

One more point, the black slaves were made to be ignorant. Couldn’t read, spell and no education. Micheal already had a one up. But it is interesting that the filmmaker is Caucasian but it’s still sad and hard to watch.

What’s interesting is that based on slave movies, they went easy on Michael. A runaway would’ve either been killed in the spot or strung up, beaten and then hung for all to see. It was an interesting depiction of the opposite side. It still hurt to watch. No one should be enslaved 😢

I got this game for Christmas in 1988. My dad was like "Doesn't this look good? Isn't that one of the games that you wanted?" I said "I've never seen this one before." He looked disappointed. Me and my brother started it up and immediately were confused by the garbled voice clips. And yes, it was pretty shitty. We never finished it until we got game genie and cheated through it. Oh well, that was 35 years ago.

Im pissed they banned the series. They dont want the depiction of whitesbas slaves. White women being raped by black masters. They dont want that, but thats exactly what they did to black girls. At leqst Cracka only displayed rape of a grown woman and not the actual children that white men were raping! I hate this white controlled world we live in!!!

I finally watched this last night and I laughed my ass off at a certain Superman show up 😂

didn`t have high hope on this movie but after watching it a good fun movie!

Overall I liked it. It wasn't super original, but the acting was great and really got you to care for these characters, especially the family. Recommend it if you like the Rami Spider-Man movies or the Ms Marvel show. I was surprised how subtly political the villian was with his background in the US involvement in Guatemala and the School of the Americas

99% of resent and hatred comes from race hustlers, and politicians. Black people didn't obsess about slavery back then like they do today. Its dumb. We are ALL Americans, and we should rally behind that!!!

I was all for watching this. I am not scared to se the shoe on the other foot, per se. But they really went from 0 to 100mph real fast with the Oppression in this episode. They act like everyone was shouting the N word in every black persons face constantly, and just assaulting, and raping women in storefronts in broad daylight lol Its kinda ridiculous to be honest.

Trust me I was all for it, but they really went to far with this show. There were horrible things happening during slavery in this country, but this show's alternate universe is WAY WAY worse than our Universe. This is just projection from the people who made this on how they want our future to be. Revenge basically. Evil doesn't cure evil, it makes it stronger. Be on the side of good.

Another really hard to find movie is a movie called "White Man's Burden" with John Travolta from 1995. Basically is another movie that reverses reality, and most places have made it impossible to stream or download. Really sends the message that racism is OK as long as white peeps aren't the target, socially & systemically. Which is also why we have so much social and systemic racism today esp against black peeps. No one boycotted 12 years a slave or amistad...but this! Divide & conquer = History + the many who died to try and reverse that evil = why the world is what it is today. Appreciate you aming this review Geno. This is also a miniseries I've looked for for almost 3 years now. i think I've found two episodes but haven't watched it yet.

So in this alternate world slaves weren't captured in Africa by their own race and sold/traded into slavery.
