And the final product is a .....

1 glass jar with metal lid > make a hole in the lid (same size as ur gromit) > to prevent your wick from getting snagged on the edges of the hole put a threaded gromit (elec dept of hardware store) put through the hole and tighten nuts up against the lid from both sides to secure it > cut a good length of cotton wick thread through the gomit in the lid place in the jar and carefully fill the lamp. this lamp will burn a variety of common household fuels as listed in the vid description

good stuff...and your sure right...fish are not nearly as easy to catch in a primitive situation as most ppl think....i learned that lesson the hard way
