I love Commissioned so much🥰🥰😍😍😍! I miss them singing as a group! I think a few are gone. Fred, Marvin, Keith and forgot the other members are still here but 1 did pass in the early 2000s. My mother's granddaughter hipped me onto them. Whew🙌🏾🙌🏾!

You will understand my statement if Commissioned changed how you worship or listen to music about God: I sometimes don't want to share Commissioned with anyone else for fear that persons won't appreciate their gift or handle their music well. You can't listen to Commissioned and just move your head or break out with a praise dance, but all kinds of emotion are invoked and you want to tell everybody what they are missing if they don't know the Father in Heaven. Commissioners will understand my comments. All glory to the Most High, I AM.

They ALL have such distinct recognisable voices when they lead and create classics but blend so we'll. The lyrics are so well written and relevant... even now. Commissioned was THAT gospel group that let me know you could preach sound gospel and worship without sounding whack lol. They are all gifted!!
3:41-46 "Check this out, rest in peace Chris Poole and my big boy Montrel Darrett {for being in the group. ...Montrel Darrett for being in the group.}" - Minister Marcus Cole "( {})" ⬅ because I didn't hear clearly what he said. That shout out MADE the video for me. It's why even though I had seen it before, I came back to it to hear it again and leave this comment with the knowledge that another reunion/tour is in the works. I just want to say, and I don't know if it was intentional or not, or if it's a conspiracy because of some inner beef, but don't bury people, y'know. Concerning Montrel Darrett and Chris Poole who died on May 6th 2013, you know when you sang with and worked with someone on a project, and you remember that time in your life enough to acknowledge someone who helped build the legacy. Montrel Darrett had some huge shoes to fill when Fred Hammond left, and he came in and lead on songs and started some fires with Marvin Sapp on Irreplaceable Love. "Dominion," "Until My Change Comes," "Do You Still Love Me," "More Than I," etc, anybody remember? Same with Chris Poole, when Marvin Sapp went solo. He and Marcus Cole came in and contributed on "Times and Seasons," an album that became one of Commissioned's best. Darrett and Poole are Commissioned too, and Marcus Cole knew that and chose to remember and acknowledge that on this night. So much respect to him for that! One of the frontmen, Fred Hammond or Marvin Sapp especially since he worked with Montrel Darrett, should have acknowledged him for the fans who loved his work on that Irreplaceable Love album and for the "newbie" fans who didn't grow up listening to Commissioned, so they don't know that these ARE NOT all the contributing members. We are all human beings, so we may forget some things, and there may have been some inner conflict just as with secular groups, but be men of God. They knew this little reunion was gonna happen, so honor everybody. Don't bury people, that's all I'm saying. Big shout out to Marcus Cole again for his heart! Much❤ to him and everybody else. God bless the living Commissioners!

There's not a lot to say that hasn't already been said about these guys! There are plenty of gospel songs out there that don't minister. Commissioned is a rarity in that so many of there songs ministered in so many different ways. That's it, I'm making a playlist!!

BEAUTIFUL BROTHERS IN THE LORD together. Talking about Worshipping, praising, thanking, praying, crying out to God HEY!!! and falling on my knees,, listening to their God-given Holy Ghost filled anointed testimonies & music that touched my heart and the very pit of my soul, 🔥To God be all the Glory🔥of their music Amen. I use to take off run'n in the house, worshipping, praising and thanking God, when I needed a touch from the Lord, wanted to be humbled and broken of the Lord. I put commission music on .Every Word. It ministered to me and to my soul They don't make real Gospel worship harmonizing music like that too much, no more. I had the pleasure of seeing them in the 80's @ Pastor Rance Allens church. I Praise and Thank God for these men, lyric IM GONNA NEED YOUR MERCY, Intro lyric tired OF God lol,. loved that album & I wore it out dancing before the Lord and leaping for joy, Amen.
