How do you keep the fabric on the top of the arms so smooth without wrinkles? Also, other than short vids, do you have a full tutorial video of how you upholstered this chair?

Your work is fabulous but it might be better & more cohesive it you list all the materials needed and the various steps involved in the process; so that a beginner can follow along

Your technique is very helpful and beautiful. The music, on the other hand, is mind numbing and repetitive.

Very informative. I have 4 chais that needed to be done badly. This inspired me to try it. I also love the fabric that you used. Where did you get it? Do you also have the name handy?

You can do it! But I don’t know the fabric brand. My client picked this up herself.

Did you buy matching welt or did you make it from the fabric you used? If the latter, how?

I make welt from the fabric I have. I’ll release a video showing how to do that soon!

Thank you so much for this video! I’m about to recover 71 year old heirloom dining chairs, I can’t find anything remotely resembling the awesome 1952 fabric, which has badly badly worn through from 7 decades of use. But I’ll definitely be using every tip you’ve given to fix them!

So, you wouldn't have cut the excess fabric if this wasn't being filmed?
@BuddysUpholstery
@BuddysUpholstery Жыл бұрын
Possibly not Peggy. It kind of depends on the situation and the chair in particular. This chair I wouldn’t have had to cut the fabric off. I did it to show people how to cut it off to reduce excess under the black bottom.
