The 20 something's are trying hard to have that airy sound. Nobody has that smoke and sultry sound. Her voice is as unique as they come

She was a rising star that was breaking down and transcending racial barriers. I had a doll of her when I was nine years old. I remember her being just "huge" in 1999. Something happened, she obviously had psychiatric problems. Full moon came out when I was 11/12 and I feel like it could have been her actual come back if she hasn't been pregnant and in a "fake marriage". Too bad. She was headed for a Beyonce type career.

That Never Say Never album was the best album of that decade. 1990 baby here 🙋🏾♀️. I was there for the whole era. You just had to be there. We don’t have artists like this no more 😢 music was everything and times were so much simpler here.

Every time I see negative comments about their mother. I think people have lost their mind. I believe Sonja Norwood is so misunderstood. Even Brandy’s disrespectful indication of her mother “wanting to be a star”…. I don’t even know her and knew that wasn’t true. She even took accountability that she should have step up as the adult in the situation. If they weren’t listening to outside sources to go against their mother. Their careers wouldn’t have taken a back seat. In retrospect, I know Brandy and Ray J thank God that they mother signed up to be their manager. Because looking at everything that is coming out today. It could’ve been way worse. She learned the entertaining business for her children. I think that needs to be commended.

Oh how I love Never Say Never. That album will always be a classic hit in my eyes. Rodney Jerkins, Guy Roche, Mase, Monica and other talented people helped her out, no doubt!!!

I love this album. But according to Monica, Brandy was fake in some point in time of her career. LOL.
@notyouraveragebear93266 ай бұрын
Sounds like a perspective. Monica couldn’t have been a bitter Betty with a chip on her shoulders and saw Brandys fame and popularity being a sweet girl as being “fake.” Sounds like a hater to me.

To think Brandy was on here talking about healing and everything is crazy because she was still lying and digging a bigger or another hole for herself. Parents included.

After how Monica, Kelly Rowland, Dallas Austin, & Countess Vaughn described brandy as a teenager, I just roll my eyes when she talks. She really does seem obnoxious if u listen closely.
