Great study, Pastor Jen. What called my attention during the study is that God is the revealer of mysteries. There are events in my life that, to this day, I don't understand. So I'll ask God to reveal them to me.

I love that this popped up because in my own personal story, I can see by your illustration here that I have been in the betrothal period, and I have had thoughts and hints about this for a long while and had thought about it a lot, but didn't remember that In the Jewish understanding of processes, there is that betrothal period before/between, and so all this time I haven't known what this is that I have been experiencing. It has been tempting, since I know a few years ago I was in the getting-out-of-Egypt process, and I have been looking forward to the marriage season for several reasons ever since, but I have sensed that that hasn't begun yet, because there's something else that needed to come first...it has been tempting to feel like Israel felt when they thought Moses had disappeared and here they were in a desert, might as well build an idol because what else are we doing right now? So thank you for being the first person to really remind me what the betrothal period was like and what the boundaries were and what my job is, and I feel much more like I have a place and I can even actually identify where I am now and be oriented, which then makes my decisions to watch and act like I'm already married, which I have already made, but wasn't completely seeing the point, be more motivated by what I see and not feeling like I am blind. I definitely have had the Lord tell me in the past that He is busy building a house, but I didn't even know why exactly that was supposed to be a helpful bit of information for me 😄 so this is great.

Nope, you can't live your life how you want once baptised, TWO scripture from the book of Hebrews will answer this : Heb 10:26 "For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, 27 but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a burning indignation that is going to consume those in opposition." And Hebrews 5:9 says "And after he had been made perfect, he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him" So baptism is the first step, but we need to continue to make progress!

Sorry, but the way you explain it, the readers who were simple folk must have gotten really confused. It is not hard to understand John 1:1 unless you have Trinity glasses on. So, In the beginning was the word (Jesus as the word or spokesman for God) The beginning would have been the beginning of the creation account, GEN 1:1 In the beginning. I guess that is why in Gen it says let US make man in our image ! According to the Bible Jesus is the first of Gods creation and so was there at the beginning. If you read Jo 1:18 it tell us that Jesus is the only begotten God" he was begotten by his father and his God Yehovah ! If you read Eph 1:3 it says "blessed be the God and the father of our lord Jesus" So we get to see that Jesus himself has a God. Also John 1;1 speaks of Jesus, and his father, no mention of the holy spirit, so on the foundation teaching of the Trinity about all three be co-equal, please can you show me in the Bible where it says that the Holy Spirit is God and is EQUAL to God, just one verse please?

Hi, it is not a tough question when you read the Bible, and try to get to see what the original Koine Greek was trying to say. Many people are confused about God because Jesus said "all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me " So the question is WHO gave this authority to Jesus ? So God has entrusted HIS SON to bring judgement to this earth and has appointed his son to judge the earth, and so Jesus figures so much in the outworking of God's plan that people often this Jesus is God, but this is not the case, and to prove this I am going to show you one chapter out of many in the Bible which proves Jesus is not God. Take a look at 1 Cor 15; and Vs 24 to begin with which says: Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. QUESTION: So WHO does Jesus hand over the kingdom too ? WHO puts all enemies under his feet ? Now Vs 28-7-28 which says For God “subjected all things under his feet.”But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone. QUESTION: WHO does the son subject himself to ?
