Lots of churches jumping on the spiritual formation bandwagon because it’s the „in thing“ at the moment. However very few churches are actually practicing it, living it, embodying it… unfortunately it’s mainly superficial messaging from the stage. Having followed Bridgetown (admittedly only online) you can see that it took JMC and his team years to change the culture.

Amazing message! It's so very easy to get caught up in the " i can't see my efforts doing anything, so it isn't worth it" mentality and forget to just remember the one thing Jesus keeps asking us." Do you love me? "❤

Family member who visits in a hurry. Goes to parties in a hurry, Everything is a rush to be home and she and her husband is retired. Even when the kids arrive she is in a hurry for them to leave. Does not let you speak whether you call or she does. It has gotten worse. She travels 40 minutes to only stay with me 15min. One day it was 30 min and I congratulated her after she left. Not sure why she does this and not sure she does.

He will probably speak to you, and guide you when you listen. It just came to my mind that Moses was advised by his father-in-law to delegate and make more leaders. Maybe ask God if you need to let go of your baby and believe in other leaders who might do exactly as you would have done. And you will need to trust god that your ”baby” will survive and grow by the grace of God. Maybe God even wants to remove you and lead you into a new season, into another dream you have in your heart. I hope this does not come as presumptuous. Feel free to throw this in the garbage bag if it doesn't resonate in your heart. Anyway, God bless you in your walk with the Lord.

John Mark does have some good things to say but is ultimately a false prophet mixing new age theism and eastern mysticism into his Christian teachings.

I am so glad to see a Canadian Christian show. Thank you for this show. And thank you for having father James on, that is how I discovered your show. I am not a pastor but I am trying to help grow a ministry called Estuary. Estuary uses small group discussion, across ideological and religious lines, to help feed people hope and fellowship. There is a protocol in place to ensure everyone gets a chance to be heard and it works very well. I would love to talk with you guys about it. Given where we are in Canada I think it could be a great thing for pastors and church leaders to get involved with. It was through these conversations I became a Christian a few years ago. Thanks and God bless your good work!

The Trump comment made me cringe. Say what you will but Trump was the most pro-life president we’ve had in decades and is fighting the insane trans social contagion that is mutilating the bodies and minds of countless young people.

Except the very foundation is different... There is no turning to Christ who has freed you from sin and who then guides you into the relation with the triune God. In Buddhism you are me and I am the universe. This format is not ideal for conversations like this 😅

I'm a big Willard and Foster junkie, and it seems like Comer is dangerously close to plagiarizing their words. It's fine to use their ideas but every time I hear anything from Comer, it's their exact wording without giving them credit. I am confident that John Comer is creative enough to come up with his own words without plagiarizing Willard and Foster. Many people haven't read Willard and Foster and I'm glad he's carrying their message to a new generation, but using their words as his own is kind of sad. Any academic writer would be fired if they plagiarized this much.

I have read all except 2 of Willard’s books and listened to hours of his video content… I have read every book Comer has written so far and listened to almost all of his online connect… I have still to find a place where Comer does NOT give proper credit to the people he quotes or ideas he uses… Comer is also extremely well read and he credits many authors from a wide range of disciplines in his talks and his writing…

Tim Mackie. I have so much admiration for him. I highly recommend to take a deep dive down the rabbit hole that are his archived teachings and sermons. The way that he was able to radically change my perspective and brought me to a place where I could actually form a personal relationship with Jesus... I went to church, i went to ministry school, I went through isolation seasons of deeeeeep study. And then once I started really listening to his teachings is when I finally felt confident to go to Jesus with a my blank slate.

The reason pastors can feel lonely in their church is because today’s pastor position is unnatural and and biblical. A spiritually gifted pastor is meant to be a member of the church, not the head of the church. Pastors are usurping the role of Christ. They are often the god of their church. That is why they feel it necessary to create a fake version of themselves in order to pastor churches. How messed up is that!

Duality is what you experience when you believe your thoughts about your experiences. Nonduality is what you experience when you focus on your sensory input without paying attention to your mind’s interpretation of that input... Most people have already experienced "no separate self", and it just wasn’t that big of a deal... If you’ve ever “lost yourself” in a book or a movie, or been “in the flow”, where it seemed like your body was on autopilot and was just doing its thing with no “you” controlling anything, then guess what... That was the experience of no separate self! Congratulations! Once you’ve recognized the illusion it becomes easier and easier to see through. You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean within a drop! Every family has a person who breaks the chains of poverty and trauma... I AM that person! The only thing I'm giving up on in my life: is the need for specific conditions to be met, in order for me to be RADICALLY HONEST. RADICAL HONESTY is my modus operandi. JOY IS MY PURPOSE. YESHUA IS MY GUIDING LIGHT. When there’s a disagreement, when I need to say YES or when I need to say NO, when I need to state my needs, and ask for them to be met... When I need to create boundaries... There's a possibility and a probability, that someone will inevitably, most likely, be disappointed in me... So I engage in every encounter, interaction, and relationship... In a way that ensures, that the person disappointed in me... NEVER ends up being me! I aim to never repress, never suppress. I aim to never lose parts of myself. Radical honesty only: 100% of the time. Always, all ways. 1. Decide who you want to be and BE THAT 2. Set FIRM AND CLEAR boundaries 3. Cut out ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that doesn't serve your health and your wealth 4. Take action everyday toward your ideal life/reality 5. Gratitude 6. Master your mind/emotions (do not be a slave to these)! YOU ARE THEIR MASTER! 7. Keep your promises. Treat yourself like the Queen that you are. 8. Learn (and ultimately master) new HEALTHY skills 9. UNDERSTAND: not every man is built to see your value. They are not all capable nor able. 10. Be confident and authentic 11. Create peace around you, and within you 12. NEVER EVER accept anything/anyone that disrespects you and your boundaries 13. Be open to correction and growth and evolution 14. Be the woman God wants you to be and has created you to be A man who loves a woman will not ignore her, EVER, period. So... If he ignores me I will step back and he will lose me. I don’t play any of these childish abusive controlling mind-games. I will only be with a man who values and appreciates me, and treats me as the Queen that I AM. Because I am a beautiful and kind and sexy and wise and magical woman: who knows my worth. Period. Whenever you are alone, remind yourself that GOD has sent everyone else away, so that there is only you and him... Do not feel lonely, the entire universe is inside you. YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE IN ECSTATIC MOTION, BABY! Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes... For those who love with their heart and soul there is no such thing as separation. You have to keep breaking your own heart until it opens (It is only then, that GOD can truly totally completely fully enter)! Our greatest strength lies in the gentleness and tenderness of our heart. --- Rumi You are constantly being re-born, re-created, re-generated, every moment. No belief is contained, held, or stored anywhere. It might cause a cascade that brings a symptom, breathing patterns, somewhere in the body, but the concepts, thoughts, and stories are constantly being re-created. You are generating it ALL, and this is unconscious. You can change in an instant!!! Every morning you wake up, your life story is re-constructed. Do I have to wake up believing reality is the way I believed it was yesterday? When breathing is restricted, get curious about what is holding it back, when it is open get curious about why that is... YOU are the Artist! Awareness of something alone IS enough, it untangles itself, the knots let go of you. Choose Freedom, take responsibility for your own suffering. I plead the blood of Yeshua over you, right here right now, wherever you are. God, send your Holy Spirit on the one who writes this, and on the ones who read this... Give them peace and joy and bliss and health and wealth and love. Repent and allow Abba to hold you in His arms. Cry to Him about your pain, He loves you. He won't mind. He'll show you a way out. God bless you. NO WEAPONS FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER NO WEAPONS FORMED AGAINST MY FAMILY SHALL PROSPER I AM RIGHT HERE EXACTLY WHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO BE

Every time only one group says we stole all be one, and in the history of of Christianity, it had led to domination of peoples lives, to persecution of those who don’t submit and agree to all the leaders say, even putting people to death. I have fellowship with many Christians who don’t always agree with me in certain areas (but do agree in the main fundamental areas) and our fellowship is loving and real in athe Lord Jesus Christ. So there is a genuine oneness of true believers and always has been that is much safer than a one worldwide unity either the same dangers of one world government.
