Even if they could get the air back up, without the Conductor having to take a walk, they would’ve have that town cut in half for a while. Even recovering the air in the trainline back from zero to 90 pounds takes some time, especially with a land barge train.

Great video. Thank you for taking the time to chase this train and sharing with us. Any idea what the train did once it got to Durand? Tie down or head east back to Port Huron?
@PlaybyPlayAdam28 күн бұрын
Went to port Huron and then took the Mt Clemens sub
@trains249528 күн бұрын
Yup, previously it went to Port Huron (May 16) and was supposed to do this run Friday May 17th! However, a fatality on 13 Mile, Fraser, delayed the "Weed Train!" After this run it tied down at the Durand yard! It went west May 21! I myself got this train at Milwaukee Junction! Wow, more chemicals were being sprayed these other spots than where I was! 😲 Great video!!!! 😁😁 😲 😲 😲 😁😁 😲RJ😲

@@trains2495 It got delayed two days in a row because of all the rain. They’re not gonna spray when it’s raining. Especially as hard and as much as it was.

It was the conductor getting back to the lead unit. For some years now, the rules allow the conductor to ride in the trailing unit again. This isn’t rare to see when there’s an engineer trainee on the train and the regular engineer watches over them because it wouldn’t make sense for the conductor to look over them, especially if they aren’t a qualified engineer. I believe this train had an engineer trainee on it. So if you see someone sitting in the trailing unit, that’s more than likely what’s going on.

Woah! That's a pretty cool engine! You get so used to seeing CN after CN that you don't even think to look twice. I also hate to admit it, but I kinda like the graffiti on the cars -- especially when it's done really well. The pink/teal tag on the last car, for instance. I can't help it, it's cool.
@FlyingEagleTVАй бұрын
Agreed. I love seeing a lot of the good graffiti. Especially when it’s a cartoon character that’s drawn well.
