We have this rav4, same color. 11 years old now. 140k miles. Never had any problems so far. It was made in Japan. 3rd row was a real add- on.

I have a 2006 Rav4 that I installed a donor 3rd row seating. Anyways, I didn't upgrade the front brakes, as there wasn't a real need to. All I did was replace the sway links and shocks out back to accommodate the additional weight when we have little kids out back. Been 4 years now and no issues with stopping, alignments or uneven tire wear. My $0.02

@@dw2843 Well yesterday I was looking at different suv and i saw a Yukon Denali and a honda Pilot. The pilot had more space than the rav4 and the denali. The 3rd sets on the denali and very uncomfortable and that is a supposed to be a full size suv.

@@gtdodgeviper I have the vanguard which is a lwb version of the rav4 and the honda pilot looks very similar in terms of interior space to that one. Similar cargo room with the 3rd row up too. Maybe its different with newer rav4 or the shorter wheelbase version. Idk what you're talking about with the denali. Its cargo space is twice that of the rav4 and the pilot with the 3rd row up.

@@gtdodgeviper also the Honda pilot competes with a highlander 3rd row... right there the pilot doesn't outshine the highlander at all. They're even playing field. The rav4 competes with the crv and I'm my opinion crv lacks power and dynamics to the rav4, and crv doesn't have 3rd row at all while the rav4 did offer for limited time

To those asking about installing a third row in their two row RAV4: wife has a 2011. It **appears** it supports a third row because there are cup holders and hooks in the back. I believe this is just so they make one set of interior panels for all. As it turns out, the third row is (was) only available from the factory and if you want to "upgrade" **it's not just the seats.** The suspension is a heavier grade and the and front brake calipers are larger (I discovered this ordering front brake pads.) So there's a lot more to upgrade than just the seats, and considering the reviews from most owners - "only a ten year old can sit there comfortably" it's just not worth it. I will return and update this if I order the wrong pads, which are without the third row option. :-D Edit: As it turns out, the non-three row pads are generally the ones you need. There is an off chance someone has installed the larger disks used by the three-row, but it's not likely.

Its true its cramped but I can fit in the third row and I'm 6'1 as long as the 2nd row is moved forward a bit. If theyre all the way back then yes only a kid or a shorter person could fit. However if you had long legs you probably couldnt fit there no matter what. But thats true of any 3rd row.

@@dw2843 Yeah but converting an ordinary Rav4 to three rows is more than just finding the seats. Probably easier to trade it in on a bigger vehicle.

@@dw2843 See original post. It started with doing a brake job and the supplier (rockauto, awesome source) offered both standard and third row options for front pads/disks. I checked the specs, they are literally different sizes, so getting the wrong ones would not be good. You **can** beef up the fronts by buying all parts - disks, calipers and pads, but getting the third row pads wouldn't fit the standard disks. So I had to be sure and began researching. It's been a couple months and I can't recall the exact sources but one of them was the specs on the Toyota site and a couple of Toyota dealer sites with blogs. From there I found the actual third row seat is a manufacturer-only option, dealers won't even offer the upgrade due to the extent of changes. Although the rear disks/pads are the same, the rear suspension is heavier and the arms are slightly different.

@@createsource9794 the pads don't fit your disks for your front spec non 3rd row... so your disc's are not large enough to accommodate the bigger pads right, did you not get the option to also change to the bugger discs or is it that bigger discs and pads would not fit the specific rim that comes in your 2 row rav4? Perhaps aftermarket rims could solve it?

Got my 2016 Corolla S XSP new, has been a great little car, only problem is that the black toyota emblems are faded and I cant find replacements for them since they are only available in chrome now. Other than that I highly recommend the XSP package, it truly looks unique for a Corolla Edit 5/9/23: eBay now sells the black out emblem 😊 Car has 80k miles and has been trouble free.
