If diresta made a prop as important as the tesseract. The amount of fame and exposure to new eyes that would get him would justify the usual exploitation of “exposure” most promise this would have delivered.

6:05 In the 80s, shop class (as a pathway to “maker” work) died because of 2 reasons: the rise of personal computers, and the exportation of American manufacturing capacity to China. That was when the US economy shifted to finance, entertainment, computing, etc.

In the last few years, we have been re-writing that narrative and it has been so life giving for us to meet with people who have known us for so long. Totally. I think the biggest point is don't settle for less, and you find a way to leverage your talent to wait for a deal that is favorable. In the meantime there are better options.
