I wouldn't bother. And will not ever again. I have made 3 separate orders of about $2000 each, over the last 3 or 4 months. And I have not received any of them. Same address I received dozens of secured packages every week, and have been for years. Somehow, APMEX is unable to complete an order by actually delivering one. They have refunded my money, after some expected red tape, on the first two. The most recent should be the same. They have no problem, taking the orders,, or taking the money, creating a shipping label, but once they supposedly send it, they have yet to COMPLETE A SINGLE DELIVERY On a single order. Which Is the most important part of the order. I won't mention the names, but I also use 2 other metal companies via delivery across the country. And receive my packages within 3-4 days tops. Never a single hiccup. I don't know what the problem is with apmex, but I can no longer even imagine making any purchases through them ever again. There's absolutely no reason to do so.

Here’s what I don’t understand….all of these gold hypers say that having gold is a good hedge against inflation. That paper or fiat currency will become worthless. But what do these sellers of gold accept for payment. Fiat currency! Okay…let’s imagine a catastrophe of global scale. No paper money wanted anywhere. People would rather trade for things they actually need. Food, water, clothes, special skills, guns and ammo, precious metals will mean little in this scenario. Only to peoples who have lots of excess time to not worry about surviving will even consider hoarding something that isn’t edible, drinkable or wearable. I personally think hoarding (or stacking; whatever you want to call it) is falling into a scam. Influencers are the winners. They take your soon to be worthless currency happily. Then purchase expensive watches, mansions, private jets, and yachts. Meanwhile you are hiding your 20k worth of gold somewhere hoping nobody will steal it. Well…whatever makes you happy folks. Don’t fall for the fearmongering. If you want to purchase precious metal coins because you find them aesthetically pleasing…well it must be nice to have that kind of expendable income. Just don’t let the fearmongering get in your head. Having said that…Trump is evil. He’s the biblical description of the Antichrist and his followers and supporters are Satan’s minions. Republicans want to end our democratic republic. Project 2025 spells it out.

Be careful buying China 'gold' - huge industry of fake coins/bars - some fakes are excellent and have tungsten inside enabling the weight to be correct and along with a coat of 24 karat gold it is very difficult to discern these fakes.

Funny video.. Why would anyone wish to smuggle their gold through airport security and risk loosing it?? That is STUPID. First, stackers should ALWAYS keep their receipts for their gold and silver purchases. Filling out the required customs forms with proof of your purchases makes things a lot easier... There is another way and my favorite for purchasing gold bullion. "Wearable Gold". That's right 24kt gold bangles and braceletes are a wonderful way to get around possibly getting your gold confiscated by the government.. Wearable gold is "Exempt" from the 10,000 dollar rule. You and your fellow gold stackers should look into how to leagally travel with gold rather than how to smuggle it.

@@GoldAndSilverCentral gold is gold. It doesn’t matter what country it’s from. Chinese gold panda coins are kind of expensive. I might buy some old Chinese silver if I can find authentic pieces from the 1800s but There’s a lot of fake stuff.

@@GoldAndSilverCentral yes, from 2008-2013 I bought and sold gold jewelry and scrap that I bought on Ebay and at garage sales. It is no urban myth that the CCP will make counterfeit Krugerrands, Double Eagles, gold bars, gold coins gold jewelry from tungsten. There are vendors that openly advertised to make "replica" coins, bullion and jewelry from tungsten. Tungsten is almost the same weight and density as pure gold. The item (item being the fake coin, bar, or jewelry) is then plated in the required alloy (10K, 14K, etc) to pass a weight and size test. If one used a Nitron XRF the item would indicate the required purity. HOWEVER, if you tested with aqua regia or cut into the item, the fraud would be revealed. There are hundreds of such documented cases that I have to wonder about your ability to research the topic. I have a lot more to say, but I will conclude the comment by saying:: The CCP knows and approves the practice. It is too big, too lucrative to stop. As long as you don't get greedy or too big, the CCP does not care. BUT, if you get caught, you will be executed. Why does the CCP continue to be involved in endangered animal parts? Money and greed.

@@GoldAndSilverCentral Anyone in the business knows copper makes gold darker, kind of reddish. To say it makes it more yellow indicates you know zero of what you are talking about. Maybe your company is good but this is a red flag. Thats like going to a diamond merchant who says diamonds are the second or third hardest gem, you know he is ignorant That kind of "mistake" is like saying the sky is green, nobody says that by mistake

You need to update your information. In 2023 Arkansas did away with sales tax and capital gains tax on all precious metals. It’s awesome to live in a state that follows the Constitution.
