@ I got the z870 amd one and she got the z790 because we were told the intel 13-14th gen processors run badly and have been returned more than once damaged

@@TheDatingWarriors wise choice on the x870. If you're purely into gaming we just released a video on how the new 9800X3D is winning the horse race. Check it out! Yeah as for Intel 12,13,14, there is an issue that's currently ongoing. However Intel did release an update that would negate the issue, however it works only for the new processors. If you're running an old one, you're bound to get struck by the issue and go for a warranty procedure.

Many see only a 250$ price tag and a plastic bottom. They don't know how brilliant actually this kb is. It's basically a gaming kb mixed with a custom, 3 connections with 1ms latency which is revolutionary for wireless gaming. The kb has 0 flex, bottom plastic imagine the best plastic you ever felt. Sure, has that dial next to oled for volume and media. But most don't tell you this kb has key remapping. I remapped my F8-F12 keys to do volume up/down/mute and pause/play media and it also works in the background while gaming! The dial is tactile. Many fear the press will do a push/pull. But no. The press is tactile and registers easy. The wireless worked even when I was 5m from PC. It's 2 feet have rubber on it and it's like glued to desk. Even without tape and pe foam mod it sounds great.

@@xgmrfurious no offence, but with no track records or even evidence it's hard to even listen to your claim. In whatever situations you've faced, I'm probably guessing it's your distributor who rejected whatever said claim you have. It's a biased statement to say MSI as a whole, as a matter of fact in Malaysia the brand oversees all these claims with their distribution chain.

Do not buy the MSI X870E Carbon, if you use all 4 M.2 Slots the maine PCI E slot goes from 16x to 8x

@@kopitech The price on good m.2 have come down so much nowadays that it just makes sense to buy a large capacity one for the main drive. I have a 2TB Samsung and don't even have it filled up halfway yet since I don't let games just sit on my storage forever if i'm not going to play them.

@@wvjeepguy8178 you are absolutely wrong, i have an X570 board and have populated all 3 M.2 Slots and i was planning on getting an X870 board with 4 M.2 slots, but most of the X870 boards gimp the PCIE slot if you use all 4 M.2s

@@ltomxl I just know where I stand with this one pal. We don’t really know anything yet with the 9000 series x3d. The 9000’s just hasn’t really performed any better than the one I’m using. If it’s a big jump in performance then I’ll consider getting one.

Hi. Let me throw this at you, if you please. Does this panel use the standard "RGB subpixel layout", rather than the triangular or that other style layout? Using a RGB subpixel layout is said to be much better at displaying text and it is optimized for Windows! I'm surprised that, so far, all monitors i see for sale - do not mention this at all. Hoping you'd know for sure. Thank you

@@KingdomUploader from what I recall while using, it's bgr. I did notice color overlays/spillage on the texts. But thanks, I'll definitely include this element in upcoming monitor reviews.

@@kopitech Well that's a real shame; fwict, the consensus is that anything other than RGB and you get blurry text. I also heard that windows has a cleartype mode for rgb and one for bgr but once you tweak it in bgr mode - only some fonts respond well, so it's not a complete fix. Man, i thought choosing a graphics card was tough! Thank for getting back to me.

good review. i think giving a recommendation based on use cases would be a good addition. most channels dont do it. for me building a pc for data science stuff zen 5 is amazing bringing more then 30% uplift over previous best, just need to choose which one according to core count needs.

Marketing of the product had many believe it was a gaming processor but it isn't in my opinion. Do watch that and let me know on your feedback!

I bought the newer E2 revision from 2024 today and it came with Tripod connector and 2 cables where both have 90 degree angled connectors. "MSI PRO MP161 E2" is the model name on the new version of same model.

Does yours look to have a smudgy texture on the screen? Especially when displaying a mostly white window like a new tab on chrome or something? Just received this monitor and while everything else looks great, on white screens, it looks like it almost has a thin film of Vaseline on it, causing it to look blurry/smudged. Maybe it's just the matte coating? Also, do you have any recommended settings? Thanks!

The nothing phone 2, cannot display from its USB C port. It is with the phone USB interface.
