I saw she is a DEI pusher. Race hustling, forced indoctrination into things like Unconscious Bias and race quotas are not on my list of things to vote for so i definitely will not be voting for her.

I like Genesis. She seems more like a person and not a politician. She sounds like she’s actually interested in giving resources to the people who actually need it. I would like to know specifics about what sort of infrastructure she’s interested in. Are there going to be more third places? Is making Rowlett more accessible for disabled people in her sights? Is she interested in making Rowlett a walkable city? How are we going to help children the disabled and poor and their quality of life? If my taxes were going towards that I would happily pay. It is unacceptable for my taxes to pay to drop bombs on defenseless people in Palestine. Free Palestine.🇵🇸

I couldn't agree more with your first point. "It's always been done that way" is a terribly weak justification for a bad decision. Second and possibly more important point; I'm glad elected officials are catching on to the Comprehensive Plan. Maybe now we can stop with these spot rezones that are anything but comprehensive.
