Yes the 1995 fake $2 countafitde can be found although there are fake coins much more obviously fake than that one in this clip they are darker with light date , I guess as one comedic commenter said once online somewhere the fake coin collectors can't wait to get there white cotton gloves on these. Babies' might be true now they are hard to find.

Hi Phil , I see you picked up a very nice fire-fighters coin, well done , I agree that coin is a fake, don't have any myself but it certainly stands out. I've just finished a $1and a 5c hunt , I got a Qantas coin and a 2018 rabbit ear and a 1967 scotish sixpence in my 5c hunt. You never know what you will get. Happy hunting. Cheers buddy 👍🏻

Saved by the firefighter . I found a 2003 fake $2. The elder was fair but the queen and writing was poor. I still have it. Great conversation piece.

Nice finds Phil! Particularly the firefighters $2 from 2020. I do have a question though. I have found 2 coins in the $2 denomination. One from 1994 and 1996. They seem to be an error coin, possibly double struck? They have a double rim, the edges are thin and smooth, but the double rim seems to be the same size as a 5c coin. I know that there aren’t any known errors of $2 coins being struck with a 5c die, but both coins align perfectly. There is a photo of one coin on my channel community posts section *the photo is from eBay Australia and is not a coin I own*. But it is the exact same look and rim/edge/sides as the 2 I have. I wanted to ask this as when I saw the believed fake $2 coin you found, the edge/side (not rim) is the same as mine. The only difference between them is that the 2 possible error coins that I have feature a double rim. I have aligned the 5c coin with both and once in the right position the 5c seems to be a match. Could this be a $2 5c die mule???!!! Please let me know what you think. I will be posting 3 new videos soon. One of which will feature the 2 $2 error coins. And the other videos will feature some other interesting stuff. Anyway, enough of me yapping on about these weird $2 coins. Hi Phil, I have been quietly following you for a short while , about 6 monthsish?!😂. I have the noodling bug and I have a very modest coin collection, thanks to your influence. I am enjoying the hunt for "the" coin. I do have a few rotation errors and cuds ( xtra bit of metal blobbed?) I do get heaps of 1984 $1 coins, but I am not sure of how to spot the uncirculated coin, would you please, pretty please, show your 1984 uncirculated $1 and please re-explain what to look for. Phil, I have noticed a 2001 federation coin has a small stamp in the middle of the map.( 38.05 ) in your video. I have checked my uncirculated three coin sets and all of them have this small stamp. The uncirculated coin does not have this. Can you check with your microscope and tell me what it is. Regards Glen Orr

Best 50 c piece iv ever owned was a yr of the childeren with a double mint clip error ❤I had it for yrs till I swapped it for a ultra rare western nsw codd bottle 😂their not making anymore cod bottles but fiddy cents pump out 24/7 ,I have a lot of mint bags of changeover as I followed the van the mint distributed threw nsw 🎉was simply a plain swap $10 for $10 in coins ❤

Very handy to have Eugene looking out for you and sending hard to get stuff down. Qantas coins are hard to find in most states. You got a couple nice keepers today. Good luck on getting a changeover worth keeping.

Hilarious no painted gold one dollar coins come on Eugene send it man!! This may have been filmed a few weeks ago though. You want the rolls from Brisbane with the fresh untoned paper and the orange text Phil they have all the newly recirculating post audit 2000s in them.

I started putting together my $1 set a few days ago too. I have an AUnc 1984, but 85 in good condition, even reasonable condition evades me still. And the changeover like yourself. Finding some good MORs from 2005-2014. None of the mint set MORs yet. But I did get my 2021 the other night! 2 rolls sitting in front of me to go through as soon as I finish crafting a box to stop my coin holder piles tipping over all the time. Running out of room in my little coin corner!

G'day Phil, congrats on picking up the 2012 bubble error, nice Aiatsis & NSW fed coins, for once the coin gods were on my side this past week, I only managed to pick up 8 x 50c rolls but I scored 8 keeper coins, a Royal Visit, Tall Ships (no dot), 5 fed coins, VIC, ACT, NSW, WA & TAS (I noticed that you don't need any of these coins to finish your book) plus the top find, an incused Millennium. G'day Phil, a cool start & the pick of the hunt with the Ambo ender, looks like the 2024 Olympic coins are finally coming through, my best finds from 2 x $2 hunts last week were a Mosiac, Frontline Workers, Rio red ring, Aboriginal Flag & a Comm Games Gold Coast coin, plus I was lucky to pick up a Peacekeeping coin in shop change.
