Duuuude so helpful! This sound has been driving me nuts for years on my fz1. Just found the spring in my maintenance manual and am ordering a new one!

Hey man, I'm having the same issue. I'm having a rough idle and this sound is also coming from this location. How did you fix this problem?

How do you fix this without having to put a full titanium system in 😂 my 2003 r1 is doing exactly the same thing 🤔

Has your air system been removed and blanked ? I had this , check front of rad for any air gushing , my diy blanks next to headers had started to fail and cause a mega ticking took me hours of head scratching to find it

Hello did you have all the time? I have same when the engine is hot
@cristian4h9082 жыл бұрын
Sound was consistent when the motor was cold or warm the ex up valve was missing a spring that kept tension on the butterfly valve system witch caused it to rattle, plus most of the exup valve components were corroded so I cleaned everything up and replaced all of the springs.

You're missing a spring that goes around both shafts and keeps tension on them
