The weird thing is when I google G70B i only see 32inches but mine is a G70B 28inch. Samsung is so confusing...

I had quickly checked manual beforehand day before as it's available in web, so i had some understanding where everything went. Plus i have photographic memory, i pretty much still remember the manual from memory, so i think the key was photographic memory helps alot.

Hey, I've got a question. When you turn on your PC/laptop, does the monitor just switch on and show the desktop? I mean, like any other monitor without smart TV functionality, so you don't need to select anything with the remote or do anything every time you turn your PC/laptop on.

Not sure how HDR works on the PS5 since I don't own one, but it 100% works on PC. It's decent enough, you'll get great colors in games that support it, but the local dimming feature is a bit awkward to use for regular web browsing so it's better to turn it off when viewing SDR content.

Looks like you just went head-first into this, hence your frustrations. As someone who builds flat-pack and equipment for a living, laying everything out in sequence, pre-planning, being careful, and following the instructions exactly is the best method. Much faster, better quality finish, and no screw-ups. ;)

The pricing is so much above the g923 😐 Logitech should have a model with direct drive between the g pro and g923. Like a g924DD not as strong as the g pro in the same housing as the g923 (and same pedals as the g923).

I feel your pain. I built my TR-80 lite 2 years ago. Even though I am in my 50s and have been an IT network engineer for 30 years, and even though I do all the repairs around my own house, and even though I always work on my cars, it still took me over 6 hours to assemble my rig. Six freaking hours. Yes I took my time but dang these rigs still take way too long to assemble. 😮 I've spent another 20+ hours fine-tuning and adjusting it since then. The 8020 bars were still covered in burrs on the ends and was missing some bolts and other bits. Had to contact support and wait for that. Lastly, consider installing casters so you can roll it around.
@TheBadRacer9 ай бұрын
They’re certainly not designed with the end user in mind! I’ve had so many comments saying how it’s clearly me who’s the problem and it took them 2 hours from start to finish including adjusting it. I don’t believe them for 1 second. It took me 1 hour to get all packaging off! It’s been absolutely solid since but my god it takes a lot of patience to build it.

I think i was one of the customers who make them change the manual a couple of times, because a lot of the instructions make no sense at all in fact they need to send me extra parts, I have better luck with the Alpine TRX but even that they have some errors too in the manual.

I hope you get the extra parts you need! These companies seem to want to make it as easy and cheap as possible to manufacture and let the customer struggle at the end.

Your video came as recommended for me.. probably due to me doing a TR80 review MK1 roughly 4 years ago when they first came out.. 6 hours for you seems like a quick job compared to me! Took me well over a day of work because back then there were no instructions whatsoever and I had to rely on pictures I got sent by their tech support team.. If you have a chance you can check out the 3 part review I did, also talking about their customer service.. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Finally I found a review about this particular model and size, most of the reviews out there are for the G70A model. I have not experienced issues with the HDMI ports not automatically changing when a device is on, it seamlessly changes between my work laptop and my PS5. I got this monitor a couple days ago and I can play videogames at 120hz, I have VRR on and HDR on, I will have to try turn off HDR to see if it makes the games look better. Thanks for the review, maybe you can make a short one about calibrating/changing the color settings to get the best out of the PS5.

the rig is anodized meaning it is dyed so no paint anodized finishes scratch really badly and all aluminum rigs take about 3 and a half hours to build at minimum when i built my Sim-lab gt-1 evo it took me 4 hours without a manual this is known it is stated by every good reviewer states this its not meant to be easy its meant to be ridged and sturdy and give you the ability to set it up in your driving position. clearly you didn't do that much research
@TheBadRacer11 ай бұрын
it is solid no complaints about the rigidity.. I'm not sure what fittings are provided with the sim-lab rig but the track racer spring t-nuts were an absolute nightmare. That's what made the build slow. m6 T-bolts and nuts and you can reduce the build time by probably 2 hours. also time being wasted because the of the threads in the t-nuts were not machined correctly. probably why you have 50 spare left over at the end.
@nicholassalapoutis282911 ай бұрын
@@TheBadRacer mate regardless of the aluminum profile rig it takes hours had you paid more attention to details, and did more research you would have saved yourself 2 hours. very obvious you did not watch any of barry roland's aluminum profile rig builds because had you you would have see a better way to build the bottom box you clearly need to do more research when buying things but hey you do you bought from a notorious cheaper built aluminum profile rig with very little care for CS

After switching from g29 to this new wheel it’s a huge different so smooth while driving no clicking noise the pedals are amazing have more control of acceleration and breaking am sure they are other brand with even better feel pedals but am happy with this system i got I had my doubts of which system I should go for but Logitech was the least system with negative issues moza have a few issues fanatec have some issues thrustmaster as well from what I watched other people complaining and making videos about these issues this might be a lil expensive but I wouldn’t be disappointed
@TheBadRacer11 ай бұрын
I agree, it’s a brilliant wheel and pedal set. The only thing I complain about is there doesn’t seem to be any future products lined up. I’d love a decent handbrake and shifter. You can use the old Logitech shifter but you need to buy an adaptor for it to work in the pro wheel

Oh wow! You really should check out dirt rally. Dirt rally 2.0 Wrc 10, and generations. They are all absolutely incredible and 60fps on ps5. Do NOT buy wrc6,7,8 on ps5 unless you are happy with sub 30fps. I tried these games as they was cheap and couldn’t even finish a race. Framerate was out of this world messed up and I said fuck Wrc period. Then I see Wrc 9,10, generations all on sale and all butter smooth 60fps . I played 100’s of hours of dirt rally and I’m currently hooked to Wrc 10. In my opinion, I feel Wrc is better then dirt. I mean they extremely similar and it’s hard to tell them apart but there’s 1 thing that Wrc blows dirt out of the water and that’s the track design. It’s absolutely bonkers. I’m a bit annoyed that I’m loving Wrc 10 so much because I want to play generations and the new ea Wrc. How is framerate and stutter on EA Wrc? Is it still horrible mess?
@TheBadRacer Жыл бұрын
I’d love to try them all but I rarely get on that much as it is 😂 Unfortunately it’s still has that awful stutter even with the latest patches. It defiantly runs better now after the updates but it does still happen occasionally
