@boblehman1726, I was at that same congregational meeting two years ago, where a man stepped up to the microphone and asked, "How should we reach out to people in our church who are not yet members to hear their feedback about the new building? Should we send out a survey?" and with indifference Robb responded, "They can email the office if they want to give their feedback," AKA Robb doesn't care about the 800 of 1,000 church goers that go to Desert Hills who are not official "members" of the church, though they give tithes, serve, and do other acts of service on the regular. I was one of those "non-members," and the church admin (AKA Robb and his henchmen like Matt Yeary, along with others) have since stayed out of touch with the congregation, members or non-members alike -- even going the length of removing Robb's own mother from the congregation because she happened to disagree with him over trivial issues. They have also removed several other Bible-believing individuals who dared to question Robb about this (devoted congregation members I personally know). So much for Desert Hills admin "relying on God," and instead treating themselves as if they were God.

I remember our congregational meeting as we were discussing our expansion plans, the fundraising goal, it's progress, the possibility of missing out on the new campus if we fell short by the deadline, and related matters. A young man stepped up to the audience microphone and suggested that it would be prudent to initiate arrangements for a loan "just in case". I didn't (and don't) criticize him at all - it was a very logical suggestion, which I too might have made at an earlier time. But to me at least, God's involvement in every aspect of what was happening in our midst was palpable (the growth, plans having to be repeatedly scrapped and superseded, opportunities coming and their "fortuitous" timing, etc.). Not externally visible, but in my mind, as that young man was speaking, I was shaking my head and thinking "No - it won't be needed - God will provide." Pastor Robb's response to the suggestion was very graceful and seemed to reflect the same belief. Praise God for all that He has done, is doing, and will do!

Pastor Robb, thank you for the enlightening information about the Apocrypha! I have had a question pop up in family discussions that has created some level of dissonance. John MacArthur mentioned in a very short video that PTSD does not exist. It seems that many “Christian psychologists” use these kinds of terms to justify all sorts of responses to stressful situations in life. I am of the mind that much of this kind of counseling is meant to shortcut clear Biblical edicts or to give one the notion that, because of modern concepts giving us “more information”, it can lead us to “soften” some calls to obedience. I would love to get your take.

Possibly I don’t think this new temple is gonna be where Christ spirit and Wells I just think it’s gonna filll a prophecy. The Jewish people are already preparing for hopefully one day of being able to build the temple again. right now there’s a mosque on top of the old temple ruins. Thank you for reaching out to me. What about the AntiChrist? He sits down in the temple and desecrates it. Matthew 24:15. And 2 Thessalonians 2:4. It sounds to me the there will be a 3rd temple built. It may not be of any importance to us like it is for the Jews. But the Jews are expecting to rebuild the temple someday. Help me understand please
