In my 12 yrs of experience with this company, after having recruited from on-campus, I got 9 As, 1B, 2Cs. Promoted 4 times. But, as she/victim aptly put 1st (probation) and last year (mgr politics and ego) were the ones, I as well got C. Thats it. I immediately put down my papers and resigned. With my skill sets and qualification, there were no dearth of opportunities. Didn't even give chance to these HR guys to talk or dictate. Shown them their place. Never ever join these so called Indian MNCs. They are the worst.

Tcs does not terminate anyone as far as i know unless there is ethical or behavioural issue or moonlighting , i dont think they terminate based on performance

😂😂 atleast they're providing 3 months salary. I had to fight HR for the salary. This is the reality we are just slaves, they can kick out anybody at any time. In my personal case I received 2 awards and 2 recognition from the client and when I asked same question why I am getting asked to leave HR is like well first is your performance 😂😂😂. That is how these assholes are. Atleast these assholes can give proper reasons.

I found TCS hr are most hilarious .... They dont even bother to be logical, just say whatever comes in their mind, just retarded Everyone know whats was going on 8 yrs ago in TCS. Mistry took charge of TCS and terminating indiscriminately, only criteria were age, year of experience and salary. If these were on higher side the person got terminated. First time, I saw in IT industry, a billable person was terminated 😂😂😂

There should be an end to the term "resignation letter". Workers should send the company a "termination" e-mail, ending his/her services to the company. Understand clearly "it's a business". They'll keep you only as long as they need you. Workers should treat the company the same way.

The very purpose of exit interview is to explain the person been let go, why s/he is being let go. If the HR says its confidential, it's BS. You were just not having a "mai-baap" who could fight for you to stay despite being average or above average performer. You join an Indian company - get a "mai-baap". I have been with TCS before and have resigned after 6 year of service. I was relatively happy with TCS and was in two minds during resignation only for salary growth. But 4-5 years down the line, saw my colleagues with good performance as mine getting fired on flimsy grounds like getting 3 C ratings (2 at onsite, because he's onsite, and one returning from onsite, because he has returned form onsite) after getting 2 B's. I am thankful I left TCS. I don't think Tata ever knew what the jewel in Tata's crown have become.
