solid quick review and summary. i used to think I wanted to sail around the world for years, but after doing lots of sailing realize I prefer to fly to destinations and stay in hotels or air bnb, rental car, shopping, restaurants, etc. it's funny how you think you want something then do it and realize it's not for you. i started out doing lots of day sailing small monohulls in my teens, and went from there. but sailing got less interesting as i got older. i don't even like fishing that much and used to love it. now a 45 ft cruising yacht out into the bay and just beyond with friends and family, maybe trip from ft. Lauderdale to Bahamas for me.

getting it right,.one toilet for the entire boat ?
@Maxime-q7hАй бұрын
Yes, weird. The toilet under each stairs for the guests bedroom was quite handy. The rest of the changes are great.

This is hands down one of the shittiest, hasty, superficial review videos I've ever seen. Haven't seen anything from the heads, for example. You don't like this, you don't like that. You don't like that fly bridge, you don't like the wind !?!?! WHATTAFuCK?!?! 😃🤣🤣 You don't like the water splash. Is there anything that you like in sailing?

What a pile of poo review. I hope this isn’t your day job. You don’t have much of a clue about boats if I’m honest.

Great review. I think it would be great content if you could charter one of these "performance" cats to see what it's like to live in.

This is hands down one of the best boat reviews. Chill no pressure and you can tell you have good experience and offer insightful comments. What’s the competitor to this model?

Loved this boat the first time I seen it. I would buy it but I am probably a couple hundred thousand short. 😉

Who buys a completely custom 47 ft boat and then sells it 2 years later for a larger one? Its already larger than 95% of other cruising boats.

Awful video, really poor content. There's only one thing worse than someone moaning and that's someone moaning with an American accent. There are some really great presenters reviewing yachts and M.Y. on KZbin, this guy isn't one of them.

Great to see Craig and Katy again. Hope they get their boat sold soon. Glad they are still going to be sailing on a new boat, hope to see it sometime too.

This guy should be a boat designer... That boat is set up perfectly. Is he selling all the fishing gear and toys with it, or are they moving all that to their next boat? Be sure and give us a tour of his next boat! I was blown away the first time I saw this tour on your other channel. 815k

Wet carpet, so the housekeeping people cleaned the carpet... I've often wondered how much carpet is on these boats. I've been cleaning carpet professionally for about 15 yrs and retirement is on my doorstep. I've been mulling over several options, one is to buy a camper and head south for the winters, purchase myself an industrial portable carpet cleaning machine. Go to the marinas and see how much business I could drum up. Also clean carpet and upholstery in RV's/campers, in whatever campground I land in... make enough side money to pay the campground fees. Here's my free tip for when someone spills wine on the carpet in your boat, pour table salt on it, pile it on and leave it overnight... vacuum it up in the morning and hopefully the stain will be gone... Wine (grapes) is a natural dye and not much will get it out once it's set in. This same trick should work on other things like kool-aid, or grape juice... and obviously it works at home as well as it would on a boat...

Now there's a flashback to the past, always enjoyed Steve and Loretta, was a little caught by surprise seeing Laura but you did mention 2019 so I guess I should have expected seeing her. That master cabin is awesome, there's more closet and drawer space than my master bedroom here on land. I liked the amount of storage in the galley too.. large under the counter cabinets.. Mostly it was just cool seeing Steve and Loretta again...

Any reason your inlay shows a veery different weight to the poster shown at the same time? If this were 25t, it certainly wouldn't have a performance label.

You can do one of two things when rating boats in my opinion. Either rate the boat just for what it's purpose is, Speed or Comfort. Or rate it for both, but give it 2 separate ratings.... Maybe this one gets an A for speed, but only a C+ for comfort.
@BoatTourTuesday6 ай бұрын
Good points
@davidjones5356 ай бұрын
That's an A+ and one main reason is there's no fly bridge or seating area on top to it slow down. I'd take it in a heart beat.

@johnschieffelin32266 ай бұрын
I take a little issue with view from helms. You have to look through salon windows to see anything on opposite side from your helm, which is difficult and does not afford a full view. Could be hairy in a crowded waterway.

Bobby says he wants comfort and not speed, but then we have Amanda. Evidence to the contrary.

You have to keep your grades within categories. You can't compare a performance cat with a cruising cat.
