I notice you do indeed mention God but I don't think I've ever heard you mention Jesus. Just saying, I could be wrong but if not I'm sure you have your reasons. Maybe his name can be polarizing for some. ❤️ Thanks for everything, Earl!

A learning opportunity missed with that mother and her child. I was disappointed that you, the grown-up, were the one unable to deal with the child's contented little voice that added heart felt love to the video.
@lemostjoyousrenegadeАй бұрын
Whilst the baby’s “contented little voice” may have seemed to add heartfelt love to the video, the purpose of the people coming together in attendance (in person and online) was to hear a LECTURE, like the ones held in university classrooms rooms and auditoriums, he was *not* giving a sermon at a church *SERVICE* (as Mr. Purdy made very clear within the first 3-4 minutes into the videotape). Most people absolutely LOVE babies and I’m confident in saying that Mr. Purdy does, too. I also know that it is extremely difficult for most people to focus or hear a all of the words that speaker is saying over the voice of another (child or adult) who’s voice is at a higher octave or even at the same or a lower octave, but *not* in sync - like a vocal group singing in harmony - WITH the speaker. I absolutely love and adore children! They may be my MOST favorite people to be around. *However* , I found it a bit annoying hearing the constant/disruptive sounds coming from the baby in the “background”, which were as loud (and sometimes louder) than Mr. Purdy’s…who was *at* (directly in front of) the the microphone. I appreciate Earl Raj Purdy for having offered a very helpful solution to the problem (frequent, unnecessary interruptions) during the lecture session. By the way, ALL innocent voices can lend love to an atmosphere, but to allow constant interruptions of the most loving of people is *not* a loving thing to continue to do when it interferes with the work, focus or learning of others.

I appreciate your perspective! It's true that while the baby’s sounds can bring joy, they can also make it challenging to focus on the lecture. Finding a balance is essential for everyone to enjoy the experience.

Wow! It's mind-blowing how I connected with your channel...I have been studying the Teachers Manual of the Course of Miracles... I started in 2013 by opening the book and not understanding anything I was reading...so I put it down and picked it back up in 2022 briefly I did not totally understand...but more than I did in 2013.. in 2023 I picked it up again..and really honed in reading a page every day in 2024...crossing out Him...God...replacing Him and God ...with Holy Spirit...Creator...Source...I started asking Holy Spirit to help me understand what I was reading and to send like-minded people my way..I have been watching KZbin Vids for quite a while and never ran across Earl Purdy...Today 9.25.2024 in Phoenix AZ... I came across this Video...Proof!
