Hi friend, we do not actually sell braces and it's hard for us to give you a good answer without seeing your daughter in person to treat her. Are you able to visit a local physical therapist?

Thanks. This is really helpful. Would you recommend a leg extension machine to strengthen the quads?
@MissionGaitАй бұрын
Thank you for watching! Sometimes the leg extension machine can be uncomfortable on the knees, so I tend to stick to other exercises like minisquats, walking in a partial squat, or step ups, although certainly everyone is different!

Thank you for this tutorial! I was born without legs above the knee and use two above-knee prosthetics for around 18 years. Seeing content like this is truly inspiring and helpful. Keep up the great work, and thank you for your service. Love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

i lost my right leg below the knee 3 years ago and my toes on my left foot are also gone but the toes were gone early 2024. it has been 3 years since i walked last. no matter how hard i try i cannot get anywhere. i had a revision surgery march 2024 i got my new prosthetic leg about 3 weeks go. i had my old one still but i could not control it nor could i get an appointment to get it rebuilt / replaced because they were booked up solid. i also have a set of "fake toes" it is an insert that goes into my left shoe with a platform and toes attached for stability. no matter what i do i cannot gain any balance. i switched from a pin and socket latching system to suction which is better and more stable but i have yet to get used to it. i will start looking at these videos and see if they help. PT comes every few days works me for 15 minutes and leaves. they don't even work me very hard. but they charge me like they do.

Thank you for sharing your story. You are truly inspiring and wonderfully positive. As a person living with an incomplete SCI injury for six years and most recently a below-the-knee amputation, some days can be challenging. Finding a reason to keep going and staying focused on progress a little at a time is so important and having tools as we progress, makes it easier. Many blessings to you on your recovery journey. 💜☮️🙏🤗
