Hey what was the bike doing when the bad stator was in it
@ryanfranco414

Popping on top end power, didn’t want to rev out with a bog. It also had starting issues with very low spark when kicked over and court out on idle

Love it. Traded my 92' RM125 in for a brand new 93 CR and never looked back. Totally awesome machine back then, still is! I decaled mine to look like Doug Henry's only I was 6 instead of 16.

is that a 38mm carb? did you put a cr250 airbox on too? if ur carb is 38mm try adding 2x1.5mm shims in the powervalve governor

that carb is a replacement for the stock one which I believe is a 36mm that carb is a airstriker though, also airboxes were the same in 93 for 125/250

Could you please explain what changing the lo mid and hi fuel clickers did for power?
@ryanfranco414
@ryanfranco414 2 жыл бұрын
There’s 4 clickers and 3 are for fuel delivery the forth is for the maps that is set from the vortex program the adjustments that were made helped with fuel delivery think of it like a carb (in some ways) the bike ran lean before which it starved for fuel as we richen it up it made more power (more fuel) more power but not too much as it would flood. Those clickers only do minor adjustments as the actual mapped ecu We ended up gaining 5 horsepower between the pipe and the vortex ecu

@@ryanfranco414 thanks for the reply. I have a vortex as well, how could you tell if it was lean or too rich? Or would that only be able to been seen on the dyno?
@ryanfranco414

@@NickW90 to get a 100% accurate reading it would be more beneficial to do it on a dyno but can be done other ways but don’t recommend without you can tell if rich or too lean from the spark plug, exhaust smell and or if it backfires but I would recommend doing a tune on a dyno to be 100% serton if too rich or lean
