Can you share parameters between formit and revit? For example if we create massing model in Formit with certain parameters lie SQFT Etc. will those parameters transfer into revit when linked? an

The basics are really hard to figure out. What about: How to you change the length of an existing rectangle to be 20’ ? For sure easy to do but I can’t figure it out, So it is not intuitive. If its not intuitive you should provide the workflow.

@theblackpic1111 its such a hassle to model non-concentional elements , look at archicad's clasics remodeled series, i think revit would benefit a lot from integrating a mesh modelling

Formit shouldnt be a separate program... it should just be added to revit, next thing, there'll be an extra program for revit for making families...

It's still a lot of effort; we've been begging you to buy this steam engine from Sketchup for years...And making life again forever purely about design and creativity...You're still adding a whole dish to the table just for the sake of it. salt. A little more flexibility, please!!!

I have a cad file and i know how wide the parking spaces in the cad file are, can i scale up or down the whole cad file based on a dimension? In this case i don't want to use percentage. Thanks

just show how to create an accurately dimensioned box….. let’s say 10’ x 16’ x 20’/////. I couldn’t even figure that out. The app does not have a measure function….go figure.

lovely video but still the most important thing is missing. How do you use Formit faces in revit 2023 or R2022 to build walls / roofs etc like you used to do it in an older version of revit. Is this still a thing or it was cancelled?

I was fascinated at first to use formit in conceptual modelling but I found great difficulty in modeling curves in concet design. I find so much difficulty in doing free form openings. Any clue on resources to learn formit early design modelling courses would be great.thank u

Formit has to be free form software. Please add the features of project vasari and rhino 3d and ofcourse keep adding dynamo. Very important to make formstudies as wasy as possible

🙏🏿 I really hope its becomes something better than project vasari. Please dont kill the program. And it becomes more flexible with computation design
