I could be wrong here idk...The hairstylist example: i fully get the concept that e learning is faster and cheaper BUT this might be one of those jobs thats illegal to perform without a permit or certification because the formal education doesnt just teach technique. It also proves the student learned the standard hygenic and sanitary practices according to state regulations (hence hours completed and state test taking requirements)

It’s sketchy when someone with paid communities says everyone can do it. You need to have skills to teach. No way around it. You can learn how to teach better, but if you teach without experience you are a scam artist

@@orenturnbough7042 Don't agree with you, you have a ton of specialists in different branches sharing thier knowledge online. And there are valuable stuff. But what's harder now than ever is that everyone can create something without understanding it, and with AI tools like chatgpt it's easier than ever. So you need to spend more time on filtering who you are listening to and if they even understand what they say.

I have so much respect for Alex. Even though I objectively am a dog, I suffer so much from self sabotage.. Every single time I do something that doesn’t align with my goals I can just hear Alex’s voice screaming at the back of my head. I’m young so I look up to Alex a lot, everyone else that I know doesn’t understand the world of potential you get while being an entrepreneur. And as Alex has said he’s naturally “expanding”, and so I find it difficult at times to come up with my own opinions on subject matter especially because I don’t fully grasp it on my own. The truth is, I may have an entrepreneur spirit but I’m not an entrepreneur. Maybe that’s “labeling” but I think I’ve lived with myself long enough to know that I’m a better gladiator than I am businessman. I’m in pain.

@@TheSkoolSchool Started a business senior year in high school. Obviously when you start a business with no prior experience and complimentary skills it's setting yourself up for "failure". I soon learned while I could deliver on the process of car detailing, I (at the time) couldn't generate enough leads in order for me to become profitable. In other words, I didn't know how to market and I didn't know how to sale, I remember vividly sitting down in my sisters garage looking outside discouraged as fuck because I had absolutely no idea what to do. Now only a couple months removed from that. I joined a sales team to work my way up the meta skill ladder. I understand all the sales concepts (building customer relationships, understanding their needs, objection handling and etc) -- I haven't yet mastered the skill though. Once again I'm still young (18yo), I know this isn't the end of my story. I would say I'm about a year into the journey. Within this year, I've had a 4 year crash course on how everything works. Now, my main objective is just mastering this skill and scaling myself up until I become wealthy.

@@s.j.5810 Sure, I know black and white thinking doesn't help anybody. The issue is the "grey" area is multitasking, sure you can get good at both, but just not at the same time. Just like crossing a street you can only look one way at once. If you try and do both simultaneously, you end up looking straight and getting hit by a car. Eventually I will accumulate all those skills, but I realize now that it takes time and I still have A LOT to learn.

Bro you are already very much ahead in life, also sounds like you went through a lot even though you are just 18, really remerkable. If you just apply what you have learned I definitely think that it will work out in the end. There you go: the guy means that no matter what niche, product, service etc. you pick for your business, they all end up in the same place as all business needs to follow same market rules (there are few exceptions, but we talking general business here). In other words, it doesn't matter if you sell shaving cream, toilet paper or car cleaning services. If you follow the path of business, eventually you will end up with same marketing team, same finance head, same accounting, and same everything, and the details will be irrelevant at that point. The moral of the story is do not be afraid to start business in any field - as long as you know the field, know the market and have competitive spirit and determination, your business will eventually end up in the same place. Want an analogy to simplify? Imagine eating food. No matter what you eat, it will all eventually end up in your stomach digested into energy. So don't stress about what you want to eat, as long as you get to eat.

And to follow up on it, fear of commitment to a specific product/industry/niche etc. is one of the biggest business killers out there. Because it's very easy to fear committing to a product for years. "What if it doesn't sell... What if there isn't market for it..." The truth? There is market for everything. If you ever think "oh, but no one will buy it..." Remember that there was a guy who made a *successful* business of selling his own sh*t (feces) to people. If it exists there is a market for it. The question is, how to reach it, and if you do your bits correctly, and properly research the market, put enough hard work and get a good mix of luck - you will find the answer for that.

Alex Hormozi’s point is that you can own multiple businesses, but you can only ACTIVLY run one at a time. Musk operates this way by focusing on being the visionary leader for ONE business at a time while leaving the ACTUAL work to his teams. Hope this clears some things up!🙌🙌

I started entrepreneurship a year ago, to sell design as a service. No clients in a year. Turning up the volume on all Hormozi's content. Believing that sacrificing everything I have, cutting all relationships, family and friends will make me over time become a killer entrepreneur. I write this for every other 30-yo trying to make it. With a clear sign that nothing is working. Stacking private victories that make no difference in the end. Remember to also use common sense. Not everyone turns coal into gold
