George Cole was also great in the original Scrooge movie, that starred Alister Sim. George played the young Scrooge, Alister played the older Scrooge.

I think they should have used Mark Farmer more in Minder. He played a strong character.

As a Londoner most of my life, this was absolutely typical banter and attitude.. believe it or not all 3 main characters in this episode were typical .. You’d find aspects of these everywhere.. Dodgy characters but with a heart of gold in certain circumstances.

It's march the 5th 2024.... and due to the UTTER GARBAGE on TV at this current decade I've decided to watch all the classics.... just done a ON THE BUSES.. and followed up with this minder episode... these shows are so much more comfortable watching and enjoyable than modern day TOSH! :)

Arthur daley aka George Cole. What a legend. Loved him and denis waterman, brilliant how they gelled and interacted on set, never see their like again. Arthur always refered to his wife as " er indoors "😅
