J’ai survolé la belle campagne d’Aix en Provence en écoutant cette Chaconne . J’étais entre soleil, ciel bleu, douce brise, grands pins et collines du piémont de Sainte Victoire.

For some reason, of all the great pianists, only Rosaline Turek was honored to play this little masterpiece and did it brilliantly. I also liked your performance. There are only two executions in total.

Uno dei pezzi più belli mai scritti. Ogni tanto mi sorprendo a canticchiarlo e allora mi rivado ad ascoltare una delle esecuzioni registrate. Oggi è toccato a Segovia, la chitarra fatta persona, e, subito dopo mi sono ricordato di questa è sono andato a risentirla. Spesso il confronto diretto col maestro lascia un po' delusi, non questa volta.

Andres Segovia est inégalé quand à l’interprétation de la Chaconne de Bach même si celle que j’écoute en ce moment est de très grande qualité 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Je ne pense pas qu'on puisse équitablement comparer cette interprétation et, de Segovia (né fin XIXième) celle de 1959 par exemple: ¹entre les deux,il y a 60 ans de progrès de la facture et des cordes; ²outre cela,les grands guitaristes actuels sont plus ou moins les héritiers de l'exceptionnel travail de renouveau de Segovia; conclusion: l'interprétation de Segovia est "hors concours".
