Find yourself an A3, you'll have the royal flush of pre-Rockchucker (or Rock Chucker) presses. The A3 instruction manual is still available on the RCBS website.

So I love Bergara's and have a couple. Then got the BMR for the rack on my ATV. Was convinced by my uncle to shoot NRL22 with it. Didn't do too bad. Not doing too bad. Now I am needing something different and am looking at putting it in this chassis so I can get more weight out in front. I need an LOP of 14" so my current config (Boyd's AT-One) is way heavy in the rear and because of the LOP I need more than 5# up front to get my balance 4" out in front of the magwell. Would this serve me well in NRL22 with the BMR...there are no other choices but is this a doable option to increase my stability?

Thanks for this post- I have owned a Schmitt reloader in 38/357 ( since the early !970s) I used it for about three years before getting a Star progressive press. Just bought it out into the daylight and was hoping to check it out online- before puting it back to work_

I have the same Marsupial bino harness, range finder, and under holster setup… I solved the problem by simply not having a wannabe operator tactical hipster EDC as my mountain/woods gun and went with a S&W 44 mag 4 inch which fits perfectly in the large Marsupial holster and could actually kill a bear LoL 😂

You really need to get yourself a strap wrench. Pliers, rag or not, don't apply the same force as a strap, and the rubber strap won't mar metal in use.

Really enjoyed the video. I have an A, A2 and a 2A (2 over the A). All three cleaned up and repainted. According to RCBS there is no 2A, my reply was I have one and will send you a picture of it, they never responded. Don't know if it was a casting error or what. Have 8 Rock Chucker's , earliest is a '69, started reloading in the early 70's. Why so many, sometimes one needs to go backwards and redo, having to change dies etc. One thing lead to another. So, the 3 die set up, one is set up for depriming only, with universal depriming die, the next is for resizing and small primers, then next is the expander die and large primers, the next one is pre-seater, next is final seating and last is crimping. Paint, I found that the ACE brand Safety Green ACE1010099 was a good choice. One can paint it any color they choose, even pink. Don't remember which one (maybe the A) the bushing was like a 1-5/8 double start thread.

Hello sir, just ran into this video 9 months late. I have the original B14R, thinking on building another, in your opinion, is it any advantage over the original one? We do precision bench rest 50-200 yards. Thank you.

Greetings! The biggest advantage is balance and weight from the longer heavier barrel. Not sure if this is an advance in bench rest or not

Seems to use the lyman 310 dies, or as old as it is, the ideal dies, which are the original 310 dies. Uses a handle to reload. I believe the original ideals would seat and crimp at the same time, though it would use a specific bullet mold to accomplish this. They also had some with an adjustable bullet seater like the lyman 310's. They use the same thread, but all 310's are the final iteration with all having adjustable bullet seaters.

This series is such a cool idea. I stumbled onto it because I was looking for old CH Super C info. I learned on one of these and I still have it, still use it. I have a nice modern Hornady Progressive now. I mainly use the old single as part of my depriming/sizing steps. Then I do the rest of the case prep. I rigged up a primer catcher from an aerosol lid. Otherwise primers are thrown everywhere. I'm starting to see a lot more reloading equipment at gun shows, vintage stuff and it's selling for quite a bit. Maybe I'm reading into it too much but it seems like there's an overall surge in interest in this stuff. Guys like myself have never known any different. I'm delighted to see it but I'm like, "Where you all been?" What you're doing is showing everyone what all this stuff is, whether it's still viable, what are the pros and cons, how things have evolved, etc. It's super interesting to a guy like me who has been into reloading all his life.
