10:30 for the size comparison, its actually accurate..the armor doesnt really add very thick layered metal to batman..if you see in the movie when he goes face to face with superman, both of them are the same size

Shf figure should be a little bit smaller than 1/12 scales. So if this Batman standing next to shf flash, the Batman should be bit taller.

I think it not a simple kit. I suggest you have some model kit building experience before trying this and read the instructions carefully.

I find fondjoy's action figures look better than mcfarlane's at first glance. But if you look closely, the figure is not as nice, you could even say it's ugly. Batfleck's face is all he has, his body is fat and there's no beauty in the muscles, I mean the beauty of the muscles, not the muscles. batman armor suit is not as nice and muscular as mcfarlane's either, it's just a little more rounded.

The McFarlane had changed the armor design for their action figure. Fondjoy armored Batman is more accurate to the movie.

Yes, the ModoKing Batman figure 1/12 is smaller than FondJoy figure 1/9 (close to 1/10).

Interesting super hero model kits are definitely a thing now I’ve been wanting to collect mafex dc figures but after bad experiences with breakage I think a lot of people might be flocking over to these model kits since you have to build them, I’ll definitely acquire this in the future just to take my curiosity away hehe great review 👍

The suit color seems a bit inaccurate, much more lighter than the BVS movie. But consider its prices and accessories, it's still a good choice for Batman fans.

I'm impressed! I have their other Batflecks and will definitely get this one. I have had QC issues on the other figures, but, like this one, they are pretty minor and don't ruin my overall enjoyment of the figures. The only real minus point I can see is that it's taken them till now to perfect the font on the front of the base!

If the QC is joints getting stuck, it's very easy to fix by using a hairdryer to soften and loosen the plastic. Since it's winter where I'm at, the heater/radiators are on, so I just leave figures on the heater for a while and all the joints become nice and smooth.

@@sigerlion8608 On my BVS it was mainly the lower jaw. It's wonky and forced in. I can't get it out without damaging the jaw or the cowl. Luckily, I got the Ben head and was going to display him with that head anyway. On the JL, there were concerns about the inner part of the upper torso scraping the abs. I will work on that when I display him.

Thank you for the video. Would the correct application of heat allow the more difficult parts to join? For example, would controlled heat by hair dryer, lowest setting of a heat gun or hot water make the pieces come together more easily do you think? Thanks again- I have this kit on order but I’m new to action figure modeling.

Model kit is more fragile then action figure, overheat will easily damage it, so I am not recommend to use the heat. Instead maybe polishing the joints or add a bit oil. If worst case situation, just cut the joints and glue two parts together.

The eyes are stickers, I am not sure gloss top cost would damage the stickers. But a good things is this kit is kind of affordable so you can test to see if it work.

IMO sculpted looks better than rooted. Inarts hair seems to be hit or miss for me

I think for inart rooted hair, you need know how to use water or jelly water to take care of them. So I just choose the sculpted hair, cheaper and much easier for beginner.

I boughy one today, kinda a end of the year fig. I really like the paint on the head and the overall wash But i do not like the cape , the way it is tuck under the chest piece. Kinda prefer the Bale version where the cape is positioned on the shoulder

The articulations are surely not great, but still ok to pose some iconic spidy poses. The printing is nice. But it is a model kit after all, the plastic is weaker, break easier. Cannot play it like other action figure. Need to pose it carefully.

Strongly agree on the model kit skills part. In my opinion, the legs are kind of loose but should still good to pose. If feel too loose, may can add very little blu tack in the ball joints to made it less loose. (Which leads to model kit skills to fix the problems)
