Since you're the owner of 4126 I think you should take it to a paint shop and get it painted into TWM Low Floor. Try and also find some old TWM seat moquettes of scrap Tridents.

Can’t really say that’s a kick down just general thrash Kick down is when your going up a hill need a gear Bang acceleration pedal hard and get the power ect This just normal thrashing
@Themidlandtransport2 жыл бұрын
That’s not entirely true actually, kickdown is defined when you require power in result of this it changes down a gear which is equivalent to kickdown depending on situation.

I never knew that a ZF transmission could be applied to DMUs. It's a far more distinctive sound than the Voiths you see on a lot of DMUs, at least in the US. We have Stadler FLIRTS DMUs (basically, the DMU version of the Class 745/755s) on our recently opened TEXRail line between Fort Worth, Texas and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and I believe those cars have a Voith.
@Themidlandtransport4 жыл бұрын
Ahh right that’s quite interesting, most new modern DMU in the uk are being built with 6 Speed ZF gearboxes, examples are the class 195 and the class 196 these are both built with zf and they do sound much better and are rather distinctive. Cheers for the comment

I'm surprised that the ex-London Overground 172 cabs haven't been adapted to match the 172's that West Midlands Rail inherited from London Midland (specifically with regards to the corridor from the cab of one unit to another when working in multiple)
@Themidlandtransport5 жыл бұрын
I wasn't shocked to see them buy then because they are useful and economical units compared to the 170, but only issue is walking from one end to another.
