I just watched the contested Hurst goal. Play it at slow speed & it really does look over the line. I'm kind of shocked.

Big Bob , a true legend wherever he played , as a 15 year old trying to break through he was my hero treated me like a mate . What would that forward line be worth today ? Francis , Latchford and Hatton ! Should have gone on to super things but Bob went to Everton and they loved him as much as we did .

The 66 World cup. Days when most kids had a world cup willie badge or poster. Most football grounds were full on a saturday, no sunday games. It didnt cost 40 or 50% of your take home pay to see your team and most of the supporters just bought chips or a pie at half time. Those days were ace.

To be given an FA Cup final you have to be a good well respected ref. However in 1984 they did away with all that and brought in a clown, but told him he must wear football boots instead of big red shoes.

Thanks for this mate, ive been wanting to see this full game for a long while, up the reds, and up the blues ha ha. In the mid eighties Merseyside had the 2 best teams in Europe, by far. And Tranmere weren't too bad either. Kind regards from all at Glasgow Rangers FC 😉👍🇬🇧
