Hi Rene. Thanks for sharing this informative video! I need to replace my OEM supplied Coleman-Mach 8 for my 2015G Travato. Are you happy with the performance of the Houghton? I have read that it might not be as powerful as the Coleman Mach and that it may not reduce humidity as well. I live in Florida and high humidity is frequent. We look forward to getting a quieter unit so I appreciate the decibel readings. Did you keep the Haughton?

Your comment on Winnebago quality, I don't think it's limited to just Winnebago. There seems to be a real quality control problem for all of the brands built in Elkhart, Indiana. When my Jayco was built no one bothered to go through with a shop-vac to remove metal shavings from the various normally-inaccessible compartments like around the water, power, and heater when the various holes were drilled for the penetrations, and likewise I've found numerous screws that were bolted into basically nothing, just the thin interior wall skins. I suspect that the problem is endemic to the workforce there and that workers change from company to company depending on who's got work. Think of the situation where all of the American automakers' quality fell in the 1970s, didn't matter if GM, Chrysler, or Ford, they were all on the decline and there simply was no effective quality control. It costs money to hire staff dedicated to quality checking on the manufacturing floor, especially if one is to keep those staff instead of them floating from manufacturer to manufacturer. They aren't willing to spend that money even for their supposedly higher end products, let alone the entry-level products like my travel trailer.

Nice Hi Rene! Are this skeleton shrimp? (we dove Fiji together in Sept 22) I just got back from 3 weeks in Raja. Great to see and learn from your work again! I've got to work on my stability and shaky but at least I have a new light and macro lens. I'm hooked on the macro. Can't wait to get out to the Philippes one day.
