Very few outside America refrigerate eggs. But eggs sold in American stores have been washed and no longer have that protective layer.

You can wash them before you cook them 😅

Rarely get poop on them if you get them out daily and keep a clean nesting box. If they have poop on them, they get washed and placed in the refrigerator.
