Hello, my name is RonnyTheEngineer. I have a question, the track you are using for the curves, what is the size of a full circle for the Ace Trains? I only ask because I am autistic and I love o gauge trains. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hello! For my original Tinkers Hill layout I used the following. The inner circle is Atlas 54 inch diameter - part no 6060. The outer circle is Atlas 63 inch diameter - part no 6064. Not all trains could run on the inner track. The layout must of been close to 68 inches in both dimensions. 😊

@djwebb1234 well I didn't think I'd get a response seeing the age of the last comments. Thank you though I'll have to start looking

I have been fascinated by this original minimal space layout for many years. I am moving to a much smaller home and I would like to recreate it. What radius are the outer and inner curves on the original please? Or, what are the dimensions of the board? I want to find out if I have enough space. Many thanks.

Are you sure the video is from 1992?. Just wondering because I came across a photo of Nigel Gresley being trailered on the motorway taken in April 1993, and according to the caption of the photo (from the Alamy website) it says it was on its way to the Severn Valley Railway at Kidderminster. If 4498 was already at Kidderminster in Sept 1992 then why would it need to be moved via the motorway?. Unless at some point between late 92 and early 93 it got transported somewhere for repairs and came back to Kidderminster..

When did Nigel Gresley undergo a rebuild/restoration, because I have some home video footage from the summer of 1992 taken at Carnforth Steamtown, and in the video it shows the boiler tank of Nigel Gresley out in the open air and the rest of the engine outside being worked on (you can make out the red wheels, and I think it was also seen in one of the engine sheds (during another visit to Carnforth) being rebuilt, so seeing it running in this video from Sept 1992 seems abit odd as I would've thought it was still at Carnforth at that time, unless it only took a few months to get it back in service. I didn't know it was in service during the early half of the 90s. A couple of things I prefer: having the nameplate and wheels red instead of black, and having LNER on the tender. I suppose having valances as well, but I don't think I've seen any photo or film of Nigel Gresley with the valances, though I do believe that every A4 when built had them but many were removed due to the war for easy maintenance.

A bit like life really 'All my life' s a circle sunrise and sundown. A bit like a merry-go-round. Where is the Flying Scotsmans destination, where are the passengers? Why isn't the Goods Locomotive going in the opposite direction?

The track that the Duchess is on with the Lt gray roadbed is made by Lionel Trains and the outer loop on that layout looks to be by Atlas O. The ballasted track on the other layout I'm not positive about, but might be by Gargraves. All US based companies.
