Unfortunately Volando is 100% blue agave but would not be considered a premium tequila, not even close.

Great video but not 100% accurate.

Wrong.. exist 2 CATEGORIES of Tequila wich are 100% agave and 51-49 or just TEQUILA CATEGORY (means that 51% of the sugars that they used to obtain alcohol came from the agave and 49% came from other source could be sugar cane just for saying) this CATEGORY is the famous MIXTO Now this 2 CATEGORIES are divided into 5 CLASSES wich are Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, Extra Añejo and Joven (Joven is every single Tequila that contain blanco mixed with Repo or añejo or extra añejo) and the CRISTALINO TEQUILA is NOT a Category it is inside the Repo or añejos CLASSES because that’s what ir really is… they just have to pass for another extra process.. they pass through charcoal active filters so this filters take away all the color and all the flavor and all the characteristics that the agave and the barrel gave it to it.. so finally you HAVE to add artificial flavor and artificial body with glycerin. Wich is allow by the Official Mexican Stander NOM-006. 😊

Actually the milling process with Tahona and Mules (no donkeys in this case) is not discontinued at all, Tequila 7 Leguas is the only factory that keeps that artesanal process

Fun fact, Tequila was the first spirit distilled in North America, and yes, Mexico is in North America: “Mezcal wine - tequila's grandparent - was first produced only a few decades after the Conquest that brought the Spaniards to the New World in 1521. It was variously called mezcal brandy, agave wine, mezcal tequila and finally simply tequila” Also how can you make a Tequila channel and not know where Mexico is located, kinda embarrassing.

I'm glad this is out there. I'm tired of telling people what to look for in a great Tequila. Tequila is being Culturally Appropriated! Fucken pisses me off.

Filipinos distilled coconut to make liquor called lambanog. The Filipino taught Spanish, Spanish brought Filipinos to Mexico during the Galleon Trade.
