Nice vid. There’s so many bison in YNP. Looks like some reds in your vid. Best time of year to watch bison is in the spring. The moose is rare for YNP. Wow. 👍👍. Thanks for sharing.

I hiked here through the nearby national park. I camped in the surrounding field. That night was one of the most terrifying of my life, I had the mesh windows of my tent unzipped, the whole night I heard both distant and extremely close footsteps, both quick and normal walking pace. I wanted to get my flashlight and pack up but I was too scared, I thought it could be ciotees that live nearby. But it was literally impossible considering that it sounded like human walking and speed walking pace, a ciotee will have rapid foot steps and not move the same distance a human would with the same rapidly. I am convinced that I camped on a burial ground due to its proximity to the ruin and other nearby sites.

Good memories. A lot of people can't find the hot springs. The small beach is special, too.

I hear that is the case of people having a difficult time finding the hot springs. We enjoyed our stay. Yes good memories.

@AZplacesCamping worked with a man that when the original bridge was in disrepair the government wanted to tear it down and not replace it. Him and friends got a movement going to replace it but leave the current remnants there. Hot springs used to have 2 bath tubs when the original washed out in the floods. Now we have the current tub. Didn't used to be so hidden by the grass . Have a nice Thanksgiving day.

I see them around my house in Florida every once in a while but I guess there aren’t enough to have a howling party like that.

Thanks, I needed this. Stuck in city working the night shift. Need to take vacation or retire early so I can get back to my home, the great outdoors.

I hope you don't wait until retirement to get outdoors, take that needed vacation even if it is short. The outdoors can provide some needed healing from the work grind. Have a beautiful day!

This sound freaks out my cat and for good reason, but I love it. Living it the woods of Kentucky, it's a common sound, along with Great Horned Owls at night. Wish we had wolves back here aswell

The serenity of your camping trip is palpable. Your video evokes memories of my own snowy retreats in the mountains. It's a testament to the beauty and serenity found in nature.

Thank you for this lovely video. My Wife and I live in Overgaard and we spend as much time as possible across the street (AZ260) in the Forest. We think of it as our two million acre front yard. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2fQfmieipJmrsk

Sweet, you will enjoy. Besides using it as the grill that day, I made a upside down cake, that turned out great. Prior to using the grill I have done stir fry over the fire twice, easy and relatively fast.
