First thing I noticed when you pulled out of the yard was the trailer wheel wobbling. I’m thinking new hubs needed.

Really interesting , some great insights , just apparently letting the camera roll is such a tricky thing to do ( and shows how much planning has gone into the project)

No future on a farm if he can't put a wheel back on, I'll ring dad , what a joke

what you want him to do? magically fix the wheel without any tools. If he would've just put the wheel back on, it would've come straight back off.

great documentary but he spreads a bit of misinformation at 8:20. He says that vegans are worse for the environment due to their consumption of soy products. In reality, only 6% of soybeans grown worldwide end up as food products for humans. 70-75% of soy is used as feed for livestock for meat. So while local meat production in Herefordshire may not be the worst, globally soy is primarily an environmental issue because of the meat industry not because of vegans. Another huge driver of deforestation is the fact that livestock for mass meat production need alot of room to exist and graze in the first place. Im not a vegan and I have the utmost respect for local farmers, but I just wanted to put that out there. .

dont forget the plastic and even the plastic that comes back in rivers and oceans cause of it .. even from crashing planes and the planes that use fuel and such over long distances

You're right about the soy. Aminal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation in the Amazon due to the land cleared for soy production which is fed to animals in the UK. Most soy for human consumption is actually grown in Europe.
@alistairclement4239
@alistairclement4239 Жыл бұрын
@@Ruby-qn6yhfun fact, all soy is grown predominantly for human consumption, but we can only use a tiny%, so the rest is fed to cows, or ends up being far worse for the environment. You won't care about that though.
@Ruby-qn6yh
@Ruby-qn6yh Жыл бұрын
@@alistairclement4239 This is simply not true. Almost 80%of the soy grown is directly grown to be used for animal feed. There are 80 billion land animals globally which are classed as live stock and around 8 billion people. There is no way to feed 80 billion animals without growing crops specifically for this purpose. Even if people didn't eat soy at all, we would still need produce a huge amount of food to sustain that amount of animals. The best thing we can do for the environment is to reduce the number of farmed animals we have in order to reduce the amount of crops we need to grow to feed them with.
