Some of the moves have been redeemed. I’d recommend taking your concerns up with Laurette rather than denouncing it. I’ve worked in health and fitness and observed Yoga. There are many changes PraiseMoves had made with the poses before they were accepted. Always take your concerns to the founder (Matthew 18:15-17), and learn more about the Yoga poses to compare. I taught PraiseMoves only after 1) knowing the redemption process, and 2) comparing poses with postures. She did the work of redeeming postures. I would recommend it to any Christian as an alternative to yoga.

Omw! Thank you Jesus that you did this video! I looked at Praisemoves a few years back, and something just didn’t sit right so I didn’t commit. Then recently I felt that the Lord wants me to do something in fitness again. I had a look at Praisemoves…again… and was almost ready to commit (because nothing should be wrong with it, right) but yet still something just kept feeling off. Your video was my confirmation:)

Killed the challenge

I did not take this class but was contemplating it - I have been doing Yoga daily for 604 days... I stumbled first upon the videos about Praisemoves and discovering that the practice of Yoga does not align with my Christianity. While researching it more, I found your video. I am very glad I did, because while I have been doing yoga for a long time, I am not an expert in it and might not have recognized postures verses other stretches. Thank you for your transparency. I have deleted the apps from my phone that I used to track my daily routine and also am removing from my fitbit and app.

The prayer call is Thursday @6am.
