I really like this product! Thank you for the video! I just did my first application, dry hair and shampooed after, and was pleasantly supposed with how well it worked for me not doing it according to directions! And covered the few grays by my temple. They blend in like a nice highlight, almost a golden blonde color instead of gray. I have natural medium brown hair.

@@melissareynolds6520 so happy it works for you! Normally I am so scared of not following directions but this product is so gentle and noncommittal. Also helped me immensely while I grew my grays outs to where I could blend with a couple of highlights and not worry. Maybe I’ll do a my hair now video😊

After this phase, I started to do Demi permanent redken washes, and on me, it doesn’t truly wash out all the way… my hairdresser yelled at me 😌 and told me that Demi permanent affects different strands differently and some permanently. @@Mi_Lynn I haven’t tried their highlighter but I hear good things. I like their complexion stick (it’s light coverage), their bronzer is good too, and their original lipstick (not matte) and their lip oils are very nice. I've had similar thoughts about Odens Eye. The Flora palette was my very first and I loved the color story so much it spoke to my soul but I found it was patchy and the quality just wasn't there I was heartbroken. All my favorite influencers on YT spoke VERY highly of their quality and I just didn't see it. But I did get one of their seasonal blind boxes to give them another chance and I got the Stone and Rock palette, another color story that speaks to the deepest parts of my heart. The quality of that one was MUCH better and I get compliments when I wear it. That and the Hey Reindeer one. Maybe we just got a bad batch of the Flora for me, and the Jewels for you? It's not my absolute favorite quality (That's Blend Bunny and Cosmic Brushes for me, I think) but I wonder if sometimes we just get duds 🤷♀️ which is okay, just a bit of a bummer
@adriannyc12 ай бұрын
@@RheRheBerr you might be right! Sometimes the indy also means there is variation in quality. It’s a risk. But I don’t think others are wrong and I do believe so many sincerely love the formula. When I see a color story that tugs at my soul, I’m trying to pull out what reminds me in my collection or build a franken palette with my singles. I also thinks performance is so subjective to skin type. I’ve said it before, I have greaseball eyelids and I’m a face sweat-er, so I am biologically a tough sell for most eyeshadows. 😔🫶🏼

@@flawedfabulous I know I am in the minority, with them and with oden’s eye, I love their color stories, just haven’t loved the performance and blendability, especially in contrast with other formulations. I will say I recently tried Ensley Reign, and I am amazed at how great their formula is. I think there comes a point that when you own so much and use so much, you start to have very distinct preferences. Thanks for watching💙

@adriannyc1 I do not like Odens eye either😂 they are very much over hyped in my opinion. I've had good luck with cosmic brushes but they d don't last so day on my lids. Ensley reign has my heart they create gorgeous color stories and their formula is amazing and easy to use.

@ yes! 🙌 I need to have stuff survive my greaseball eyelids. So wear time is often what knocks out some brands in the long run. Unleshia is specialised in glitter not mattes BUT anyway a lot of Korean releases are SUPPOSED to be very soft and gentle pigment. A wash of color. Others are supposed to be more pigmented and punchy and there are plenty brands w great pigmentation. And some brands aren't so good 😅If you know your stuff you can usually tell based on the name of the collection, season and of course the promotions what it's supposed to be. Korean brands are usually very clear on how a collection is supposed to look and feel. But I noticed this goes completely lost on Western YT and I don't know a single Western YT that isn't Asian that has a competent grasp and good understanding of Korean make up, brands and formulations. So I'd never advise anyone to fully rely or believe what any of them says. The best knowledge would actually be w Jen Phelps BUT she is currently years behind on the latest trends formulations and new brands... Unleshia is lower tier on mattes and standard shimmers. The glitters are pretty awesome if you like glitters.
@adriannyc12 ай бұрын
Thanks for the thoughts. What motivated me to but Unleashia was a review from Nikkia Joy. Unfortunately, it wasn’t light pigment or soft, it was none and the glitters were so firmly packed, I couldn’t get anything from it which is why I mentioned I thought I got a bad batch. I have had luck with other K and J beauty brands with shadows, just not these. I might go in store and try some others from the brand, we have a lot of Asian beauty shops in NYC which let me swatch and play🧡

Maybe they've tinkered with the formula, or maybe the way I apply lipstick helped (on top of freshly applied & blotted lip balm, then in a couple of layers with blotting in between), but I haven't had the same problems with this lipstick - for me stayed put through drinking and eating with an even fade.
