You will need to program a universal remote to control the soundbar or order a Bose remote from Amazon

Should the gas be turned off with the key ? When the fire place is not being used and the pilot light is off ? I had a fireplace guy tell me to leave the gas on at all times. So I did that but I was still smelling gas even though the pilot light was off and the emergency valve i could hear click off once i shut pilot off.So I called the tech back and he said this was normal to smell some gas because the fireplace had not been used for a few year. But it still made me nervous so I shut gas off completely with the key

During the summer, we turn the gas off with the key. I would say this done as an extra safety measure. The key is closing a valve that allows gas from the outside lines to reach the pilot light. So shutting that valve guarantees no gas will be entering the home through the pilot light and no gas smell in the house.

Can i hook up a tv via Bluetooth to this speaker ?

My speakers don't appear in the Bluetooth list. Very frustrating.

Do you have the same remote or does yours look different? If the same, make sure the light on the sound bar lights up blue. If it’s white, press the Bluetooth button on the remote again. Blue means that it is in pairing mode. Next: make sure your phone Bluetooth is discoverable. I’ve also seen this show up as the “BOSE TV SPEAKER” in the Bluetooth list on your phone.
