I love how Christians put their trust in the Bible and claim to know one what they believe yet so often don’t read their own scriptures and put into question what other Christians say. The quotes in Ezekiel and Isaiah never talked about the Devil. If you’d actually read the context and the entire chapter, you’d know the authors are referring to normal humans who were simply talked about very poetic. Ezekiel 28 talks about the king of Tyre and Isaiah 14 is also just a prophecy against another human. „Lucifer“ or „Morning star“ is simply a title for a person of high status or someone who is looked up to in a very honorable way. Jesus was also once mentioned as the morning star. Does that make him the devil? Of course not, „Morning star“ is just a title. And the devil was also never in the garden of Eden. That was just a plain snake. The only „reference“ is a quote from Revalations, but of course people ignore the fact that people also use animals for comparison when it comes to talking down others. You know - dumb cow, stoic donkey…wily serpent. And if you pay just a bit of attention, Yahweh never addresses the snake in any way that could suggest that it could have been anything else than a snake. Just look at the the punishment! Doesn’t sound like anything a fallen angel would address. What I’m saying is: Please be more skeptical about what you believe in, question everything and don’t just take everything for granted what you hear. I‘m an atheist and it’s none of my business why you believe in the things you believe. I recommend reading the Book of Jubilees Chapter 10. There is some information there that is very paramount about the chronology of events that happened after the Flood and actually directly talks about more in contextual detail about the Tower of Babel. According to chapter 10 the Tower of Babel was being constructed for 43 years and the materials including to construct it were Wood Fire Bricks not Mud Bricks. Wood Fire Bricks are much many times tougher and durable naturally then Mud Bricks are and can hold alot of weight. The location of the land of Shinar where the Tower of Babel was being built was in between Asshur and Babylon. The Tower's dimensions were 13 stades wide (1.5 miles or 2.34km) the foundation. And the height by the time the super project's construction stopped when God intervened and confused the languages and divided the people up was 5,433 cubits tall (1.55 miles or 2.5km). In Chapter 10 God after he confused the languages and Nimrod's regime was collapsing he sent a mighty wind at the Tower and overthrew it upon the earth which is why it is called Overthrow. Some Bible readers think nephilim who survived the Flood maybe also contributed to Nimrod's government and kingdom he was building and his Tower of Babel mega project which would demand alot technical designs, engineering, heavy long term labor, logistics, supply lines, materials, and alot of other requirements likely extorting and making neighboring kingdoms comply to get the long term constant flow of supplies Nimrod would need to build even the unfinished version of the structure before God destroyed it. There was alot of engineering involved back then and even though there was a 100 year dark age afterwards people back then still knew how to construct some big structures without the technology we have today even with knowledge decreasing during those days and Abraham having the duty to remember God's word and language. With the time frame I wouldn't be surprised if the First Kingdom of Egypt existed during the reign of Nimrod's government and the Great Pyramids of Giza were being constructed around the same time period either before, during, or after Babel's 43 year construction period.
