Frankly I thought the black Axion would win by simply looking at them: it had no ballast. That is probably 1.5-2.0 tons extra weight. These tractors probably travel forward at around 20 Km/h that is 5.556 m/s. On an average 10% slope the extra 2000 kg travel upwards at .5556 m/s which requires extra 2x9.8x.5556 = 10.89 kW or 14.6 HP against very limited advantage in reduced wheel spin. With everything else being equal the gap difference is pretty much what to expect...

C'è troppa differenza di prestazioni tra i due mezzi..... C'è qualcosa che non torna ... o i motori sono potenziati o l operatore non sfrutta tutto il potenziale del mezzo..... anche perche dovrebbero montare lo stesso motore FPT....

Most drivers on this contest are noobs and I'm sure that they don't use the full power of a tractor... Steyr here looks like it didn't pushed to it's limits, same thing happened to the 9rx640 against the case 620 Quadtrac....

1) Music sucks 2) Deutz-Fahr 8280 TTV : Engine (gross) 268 hp/Engine (max) 287 hp/1.225 Nm Deutz TTCD 6.1L New Holland T7.290 : Engine (gross) 270 hp/Engine (max) 290 hp/1194 Nm FPT 6.7L Deutz is by far best and the winner and the torque did the job here....

He who saves...wastes. It's not the Deutz engine that's obsolete. But it's the technological research that isn't up to Case's standards.

A choice dictated more than anything by reasons of economies of scale, which should become operational by the end of this year and we will probably be able to witness the debut of the new Deutz Tier 4 Final-powered Forterra HD at Agritechnica. Moreover, Zetor's objectives for 2016 include extending the Forterra HD series to six models, from the current three, raising the power range to 200 horsepower with the use of 6-cylinder engines.
