It’s just the fake pops and bangs that ruin it for me. I had a F56 MCS for 8 years; the pops & bangs suit a hot hatch, not so sure about a Morgan. You’re right about reliability though, as I absolutely cained my Mini all the time without a single issue with the engine.

You should drive at a speed that you can safely see and stop in, not a road that you know. Fog makes that even more important.

Great review. Personally I prefer the V Twin predecessor, or a Pembleton. As a polite suggestion. It would have been nice to have a second camera set in the direction of travel, Harry’s garage seems to be best at it. Keep up the great work.

i have number 67 of the jdm ones with shorter 5th and final drive ratios its insane 4th and 5th blow me away for the hp it is considered selling a few times but never will greatest evo by a mile ive ever driven or been in, drives just like my 99 sti ra its crazy how similar they are in acceleration / ratios

Fab Super 3! Have you adjusted your pedals? It’s simple to do with the lever under the dash. I’m shorter than you (5’9”) and see well above the windscreen in my Super 3.

I recently saw an episode of wheeler dealers about the morgan plus4. I could not believe how shitty the chassis is and the floor of the car being made of mulitiplex. I would not feel save in such a car.

I tried 485 and 340 s. The 485 was a pain with the race clutch and almost undrivable on public roads. The 340 was so much better to drive , was speced more for road use i guess. For now i keep my Alpine A110 Gt , but a Caterham would be a very fun addition to my garage.

the Abarth is one of my fav micro hot hatch I made a road trip from Luxembourg to Amalfi in Italy with 0 Motorway only using mountain roads going through Vosges, Juras, Alps, Switzerland in the lake region , Bologna, Florance, Tuscany...., a total of 5600 km of curvy roads and it was an epic journey since this trip I installed the ultimate accessory missing in the abarth, a cruise control :)

EV manufacturers need to find a way to put a soul into their cars. I had a Taycan loan car for a few days while my Boxster was in for a service, and even though it was super quick, it was as exciting to drive as a damp lettuce. Driving my Boxster puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel - EVs leave me cold.
