Dr Sanduk Ruit treated a North Korean diplomat in Kathamandu, Nepal. After the treatment, he then requested the North Korean authority to let him in North Korea to preform the surgery and train the local surgeons. The diplomat said he would take the proposal to General. But it was a long process. That time North Korea listened only two countries, Canada and Switzerland. One time Ruit discussed with the chairman of Switzerland Opthalmology Society when he came to Nepal for arranging the visit to North Korea. Somehow the chairman managed for them to visit. Then, Dr Ruit and surgeons visited North Korea, where on the gudience of Dr Ruit, they preformed the successful surgery on more than 1000 people and trained many north korean surgeons. If Dr Sanduk Ruit hadn't made a request, then it wouldn't have been possible. The General didn't ask or request Ruit to come and visit, Dr Ruit himself requested to visit. He wasn't even the one who funded the campaign. It was all Switzerland Opthalmology Society, Dr Ruit and his team, and other opthalmologists who funded it. So, instead of thanking General, they should be more thankful to Dr Sanduk Ruit who was right infront of them. Without his effort, none of this would have happened.

I have watched so much of videos of Dr. Sanduk and his patients reaction. But they (North Korean) are the only one who have acknowledged their General instead of Dr. Sanduk Ruit. Shh 🤦 Doctor is truly a giver and doesn't expect anything from others.. May god bless him and continue his work.

What are they supposed to do? If they dont they could come under allegations that they are believing more in foreign medicine than north Korean. This could get them in massive problems even getting executed etc. I'm sorry if I misunderstood you, it just seemed as if u portrayed them as ungrateful and that they actually believe what they say....

@@poumou8364 You don't have to be sorry. You just expressed your thought as I did. My concern was how at times we tend to forget to be grateful to those heros (life saviours). I understand your point how NK might be in problem by expressing their voice or against their Gov. 🙂
